Mulciber said:And why can it not be a test? Is not getting the feedback of a 70 twink community with some kind of trailer video or whatnot part of testing what can be put to use?
If there was no editing, or any attempt to draw some kind of storyline into the video it's quite obvious its either some kind of general video test or just a person who's never done a video before.
Both of us said it was a test video int he OP, prior to any criticism so your logic is flawed.
Justhealme said:Is it not a test of fraps if you post it on message boards and YouTube seeking feedback (or in your case, recognition).
Nothing about a test is mentioned in the original post of this tread. Only on page 2 do you say: "Just call it a dps test video", after a full page of criticism. You edited the OP in the thread where you posted your own video (and you also removed the link to the video) after people replied.
I have to agree with people responding to your video that popping evasion while fighting a Shadow Priest was hilarious to watch.
Mulciber said:Exactly, I got the response I wanted and the test was successful. I got some pretty good feedback on what people like / don't like in a video and I now know what format to aim for once S9 rolls around and I have some time to make a decent full length video.
And yeh, never seen a s priest melee? All the good ones do.
Justhealme said:Avoiding what I said won't make it go awayFact of the matter remains to be that you lied about what you wrote in your OP, and then edited your original post to be in compliance with your lie. It is also a fact that you've used "the video is a fraps test" as an excuse in the face of unanimous criticism. For anybody interested in what this is all about, here is a link to Mulciber's video (which, as mentioned, was removed from his original thread after people criticized it).
Also Mulciber, if you truly were "testing the recording", as you claim in the video description on YouTube, I have found an error. It seems your video software cut out all the duels as soon as you used all your cooldowns (and before your oppoent actually dies). I'm sure this is a technical error that occurred in the rendering process, but I just wanted to make you aware of it.
You never seen a rogue evasion vs a caster? All the good ones do... Oh wait.
