  3. Make sure to be the FIRST person to accept the invitation to TB so you(or your 85 friend) get leader (If you fail beg the leader to give you leader/assistant)
  4. Invite your 70 who you want achies on
  5. Stand still in Tol Barad Penninsula while in the TB raid group and get credit for siege kills.

Reputation

The most funny and hard part

There are 86 factions TOTAL, 19 of them are Alliance only and 19 are Horde only, so 67 MAX for each faction.

Factions thats rep CANT be obtained on 70 by any ways:

9 Cata factions 80-85lvl:
  • Avengers of Hyjal, Guardians of Hyjal, Ramkahen,The Earthen Ring, Therazane - Factions with 80-85 QUESTS and a raid faction.
  • Baradin's Wardens/ Hellscreans reach- Tolbarad quests + win. You cant go to battle, you will get teleported out with " you are too low level blablabla".
  • Wildhammer Clan/Dragonmaw Clan - again, 80-85 Quests.
4 Wotlk factions:
  • Frenzyheart Tribe/The Oracles - enemies to eachother, 76+ lvl quests.
  • The Ashen Verdict- 80lvl raidfaction.
  • The Sunreavers - description below.
2 Old factions that CANT be farmed, however they counts for rep counter:
  • Zandalar tribe and Shendralar.
Two factions that stops at 11999/12000.
  • Gelkis Clan Centaur and Magram Clan Centaur.
And ONE faction from each line because they are enemies to eachother and you cant have both:
  • Ravenholdt/Syndicate.
  • The Aldor/The Scryers.
So we have 52 Factions for Horde and 53 for Alliance avaiable on 70 (including two deleted ones- Shendralar and Zandalar Tribe).
  • Alliance Vanguard, Explorers' League, The Frostborn, The Silver Covenant, Valiance Expedition
  • Darnassus, Exodar, Gilneas, Gnomeregan
  • Silverwing Sentinels, Stormpike Guard, The League of Arathor
  • Argent Dawn
  • Bloodsail Buccaneers, Booty Bay, Everlook, Gadgetzan, Ratchet
  • Brood of Nozdormu, Cenarion Circle, Hydraxian Waterlords, Ashtongue Deathsworn, The Scale of the Sands, The Violet Eye
  • Lower City, Sha'tari Skyguard, Shattered Sun Offensive, The Aldor, The Scryers, The Sha'tar, Cenarion Expedition, Honor Hold, Keepers of Time, Kurenai, Netherwing, Ogri'la, Sporeggar, The Consortium
  • Darkmoon Faire, Ravenholdt, Zandalar Tribe, Shendralar
  • Timbermaw Hold,Thorium Brotherhood, Wintersaber Trainers
  • Guild reputation
  • Argent Crusade, Kirin Tor, Knights of the Ebon Blade, The Sons of Hodir, The Wyrmrest Accord
You can have ALL of those reps on lvl 70.

Total points: 505

TOTAL POINTS available ON 70: 7795 Made some mistakes counting total points of each section, but 7795 is a correct number

Now how to get them all. *Note- reps there doesnt include human racial, guild and festival REP bonuses*
  • Darnassus, Exodar, Gilneas, Gnomeregan, Ironforge, Stormwind - Equip a city tabard and go random dungeons.
  • Silverwing Sentinels, Stormpike Guard, The League of Arathor- Bg ones. Do battlegrouds. Long, boring farm (except alterac)
  • Alliance Vanguard, Explorers' League, The Frostborn, The Silver Covenant, Valiance Expedition :

Yes, you can have ALL of them on 70. For alliance- If you can, FC to enemy, do all quests in borean/howling fjord, FC back and do them again for your faction. . Hordes have alot of quests in Ashenvale. Only one thing- Silver Covenant/Sunreavers rep will RESET TO ZERO after a faction change because of technical issues on Argent Tournament progress transfer- they just reset it. If you are horde you can FC without a problem, but you wont get sunreavers anyway.

Now you are exalted with two, ~5000/12000 and 9000/12000 with two and somewhere around 0/12000 with Sunreavers/Silver covenant.

There are two ALLIANCE ONLY daily quests "Steel Gate Patrol" - "250 reputation with Explorers' League" and "Break the Blockade" "250 reputation with Valiance Expedition" . Each one gives HIDDEN 62,5 rep to other 4 factions except its own- all 5 are shared . So the only way to get Silver Covenant and Frostborn is to do those 2 daily quests, 125 (62.5*2) rep/day, around 8+ months.

If you are Horde, then you can get Frostborn exalted only being an ally and doing those quests and FC back to Horde if you want. You will get Silver covenant->Sunreavers rep reset to ZERO after FC, so no point of farming it if you are going back to horde.
  • Argent Dawn - some quests, easy , nerfed farm.
  • Bloodsail Buccaneers, Booty Bay, Everlook, Gadgetzan, Ratchet :

If you want them ALL, then you will need alot of time and 85s help. First go to Arathi Highlands, Faldir's Cave and kill any booty bay mobs until 11999/12000 honored with bloodsail. Now go get two 85 tanks 375+ iLvl and two 85 healers, and let them farm Booty bay Bruisers for you until you get EXALTED with bloodsail.

Now you are completely hostile with all Steamwheedle cartel. Go to Tanaris, behind caverns of time there are alot of low lvl pirates, each giving 5 with Gadgetzan and 2.5 rep with other 3 factions and NOT lowering bloodsail. My repfarm plan: http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/7581/steamwheedle.png . Big green numbers- 1 - Best solution is boomkin with moonfire and starfall. 2 - any ranged dps, 3 - melee on a ship, 4 - You, the slacker. Stay at this thing, facing ~20 degrees to the left, so you will hit all the mobs. Gadgetzan stops at 20999/21000 , but other 3 still goes until 999/1000 exalted. Now go to Ratchet and kill the remaining pirates for Gatgetzan exalted (or just one) .
  • Brood of Nozdormu, Cenarion Circle, Hydraxian Waterlords, Ashtongue Deathsworn, The Scale of the Sands, The Violet Eye - raid factions. Long, boring raid farm. Waterlords after 0/21000 goes only from bosses 1050 rep per clear.
  • Lower City, Sha'tari Skyguard, Shattered Sun Offensive, The Aldor, The Scryers, The Sha'tar, Cenarion Expedition, Honor Hold, Keepers of Time, Kurenai, Netherwing, Ogri'la, Sporeggar, The Consortium - BC non-raid factions. Wowhead is yours- quests, dungeons and grind,- common boring farm. Aldor/Scryers are enemies to eachother, so you can have only one of them.
  • Darkmoon Faire - hard one. get ~2500/6000 Friendly by doing easy repeatable quests. Then find ppl who are crafting decks/have alot of cards on AH and ask to turn-in them by yourself. The guy tells you what trinket he need from the deck, you give him the trinket back AND some gold. Price can vary between 100-700 gold per EACH turn-in. PS: Update- new Darkmoon daily quests give alot of reputation, so the rep grind has become very easy.
  • Ravenholdt - find 3-4 rogues , they will farm (pickpocket mobs, no need to kill even, pocket respawn is ~5 min) Blackrock stronghold area in Burning Steppes and Blackrock spire. each lockbox costs 15-30 gold depending on rogue's laziness and greed.
  • Shen'dralar, Zandalar Tribe- if you have it ( done pre-cata), then you are the Lucky one. if not- well, go to the next step.
  • Timbermaw Hold - grind, grind, grind. Takes around 4-6 hours. Wowhead will help
  • Thorium Brotherhood - First do some quests to unlock others etc, at around Honored you will be able to turn in fiery/lava cores - they are ~10-30g each on AH,- buy and turn-in.
  • Syndicate - i suggest to NOT farm it if you want "the insane"- and you WANT it if you are doing darkmoon and goblins, - they are enemies of Ravenholdt and you cant have both factions at exalted
  • Wintersaber Trainers - nerfed. Few days and its done
  • Guild Reputation - the best way to farm it is Arena. 112,5 rep / win with tabard, around 10.5k rep/week is a cap with all rep improvements (human+guildbonus+tabard), so 10-15 wins/day and the rep is yours.
  • The Kalu'ak - do two Daily's. Boring, but the only way
  • Argent Crusade, Kirin Tor, Knights of the Ebon Blade, The Sons of Hodir, The Wyrmrest Accord - Ebon Blade Commendation Badge and other ones can boost your rep very fast. Farm JP's, convert honor -> JP, buy those tokens- and the rep is yours.
And thats how you get 53 Exalted on lvl 70.

Rep guide, part two.
  • Silverwing Sentinels, Stormpike Guard, The League of Arathor : Silverwing Sentinels is a WSG faction, you can farm it by capping flags - 35 rep/flag or 45 on weekends. Adding human racial and guild perk - and you will need 1000 (thousand) of flag caps - even if you queue with a nice grp and have 100% win chance, you wil need to do 333 WSG's. The League of Arathor - Arathi basin faction. When you fight in Arathi Basin you earn 10 reputation per 160 resources , so its 100 rep/win - easier because even if you lose you will still get some rep. You need 350 wins for exalted AND there are few quests that Field Marshal Oslight gives. Stormpike Guard - just go AV, goes pretty fast.
  • Argent Dawn - you can earn reputation with the Argent Dawn by completing Fiona's caravan quests in the Eastern Plaguelands. Once progressed through the chain, completing Lord Maxwell Tyrosus's quest Argent Call: The Trial of the Crypt will then bring the player to Revered reputation. After this point, the only way to earn reputation to Exalted with the Argent Dawn is by completing the repeatable quests Annals of the Silver Hand and Aberrations of Bone, which feature objectives in the Stratholme and Scholomance dungeons.
  • Brood of Nozdormu - you need 6 full AQ40 (temple) runs, 7k rep each to go from hated to neutral. Killing trash in the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj can only get you to 2999 / 3000 Neutral, at which point reputation can only be further advanced through quests and handing in Qiraji Lord's Insignia and Ancient Qiraji Artifact. Qiraji Lord's Insignia can be obtained from each boss in the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj, giving you 500 rep and Ancient Qiraji Artifact have a chance to drop from any mob in the zone, it starts a repeatable quest, giving you 1000 rep. You may want to save all the insignias and artifacts until after you are Neutral, since at that point gaining reputation becomes much more difficult.
  • Cenarion Circle - you will get 250 rep from Qiraji Lord's Insignia and you get 2000 rep for full clearing AQ20 (ruins).
  • Ashtongue Deathsworn - 8000+ rep per Black temple full clear , also you can get 4850 rep by doing the Medallion of Karabor questline, starting from Aldor OR Scryers, more info here http://www.wowhead.com/quest=10568 .
  • The Scale of the Sands - 7800 rep per Mount Hyjal full clear + 3000 for http://www.wowhead.com/quest=13432 quest.
  • The Violet Eye - 9000+ rep for a full Karazhan clear and 10270 for a questline starting from http://www.wowhead.com/npc=17613.
  • Hydraxian Waterlords - Molten core trash until 11999/12000 honored, then ONLY from bosses, 1050 rep total, Golemag and Ragnaros keep giving rep until the end of exalted. The best way to get 11999 is to clear all trash without getting you saved, then reset it and go again. Then go and kill all the bosses. When you hit revered you need 20 full clears to exalted, lowered by guild perks etc.
  • Lower City - Until Honored: run Auchenai Crypts in normal mode, ~750 reputation, run Sethekk Halls in normal mode, ~1250 reputation, run Shadow Labyrinth in normal mode, ~2000 reputation. Turn in Arakkoa Feather at Vekax. Note: Players aiming for faction higher than Honored should wait until honored to complete the Lower City quests. Honored to Revered run Shadow Labyrinth in normal mode, ~2000 reputation. Complete all available Lower City quests. Revered to Exalted run Auchenai Crypts in heroic mode, ~750 reputation. run Sethekk Halls in heroic mode, ~1250 reputation. run Shadow Labyrinth in normal or heroic mode, ~2000 reputation.
  • Shattered Sun Offensive - Reputation through Exalted with the Shattered Sun Offensive can be gained via doing specific quests as well as by running the 5-man dungeon Magisters' Terrace. One full run on normal gives 1655 reputation, so that makes it 26 full runs to get exalted
  • The Aldor/The Scryers - enemies to eachother, You can only have ONE faction at exalted
  • Aldor Reputation: Until Honored -Players looking to gain the higher reputation ranks (revered, exalted) may wish to save non-repeatable quests until after reaching honored - Turning in 10 Mark of Kil'jaeden to Adyen the Lightwarden in Aldor Rise will grant 250 reputation with Aldor. There is also a repeatable quest for single mark turn-ins which yields 25 rep. Approximately 240 marks are required to go from friendly to honored. In addition these quests provide Sha'tar reputation; 125 reputation per 10 or 12.5 reputation per single turn in. Until Exalted -Once you reach level 68 you may also turn in Mark of Sargeras at the same rates as Marks of Kil'jaeden. Fel Armament may be turned in at any time to Ishanah <High Priestess of Aldor> inside the Shrine of Unending Light on the Aldor Rise. This will increase your reputation with Aldor by 350 per hand-in. In addition to reputation gains, you will receive Holy Dust, which is currency for the purchase of shoulder enchants from Inscriber Saalyn in the Aldor bank. All those marks can be bought from AH for a low price.
  • The Scryers - Until Honored Players looking to gain the higher reputation ranks (revered, exalted) may wish to save non-repeatable quests until after reaching honored. Turning in 10 Firewing Signet to Magistrix Fyalenn in Scryer's Tier will grant 250 reputation with the Scryers. These signets can also be turned in one at a time at the same exchange rate, 25 reputation per signet. This repeatable quest becomes unavailable at honored. If no other reputation quests are done, 240 signets are required to go from friendly to honored. Until Exalted - Once you reach level 68, you may also turn in Sunfury Signet. For every 10 signets, you will gain 250 reputation. Once you hit honored it will take approximately 1,320 Sunfury signets to go from honored to exalted if no other reputation is earned. Arcane Tome may be turned in at any time to Voren'thal the Seer inside the The Seer's Library on the Scryer's Tier. This will increase your reputation with the Scryers by 350 per hand-in. If you wish, you may turn in the Arcane Tomes before honored reputation, however it is recommended that you save them for after you hit honored. Once you hit honored it will take approximately 94 Arcane Tomes to go from honored to exalted if no other reputation is earned. In addition to reputation gains, you will receive an Arcane Rune, which is currency for the purchase of shoulder enchants from Inscriber Veredis, who resides in the Scryers bank. All those marks can be bought from AH for a low price.
  • The Sha'tar :

Until Honored Reputation can be gained from Scryer/Aldor signet/mark turn-ins. The following will only grant Sha'tar reputation until you achieve Honored status: Firewing Signet, Sunfury Signet, and Arcane Tome for the Scryers; Mark of Kil'jaeden, Mark of Sargeras, and Fel Armament for the Aldor. In addition, these will require more turn-ins to produce equable Sha'tar reputation to the main faction. Note that this reputation gain does not show up in the combat log, but can be verified by looking at your reputation panel. Reputation can also be gained by running Tempest Keep Normal mode dungeons: The Botanica (2300) , The Arcatraz(1800) and The Mechanar(1600)

Through Exalted - You may wish to complete the few Sha'tar quests available. In addition to the quests, instance runs in Tempest Keep: Botanica, Arcatraz and Mechanar will continue to grant reputation. At this point, it is probably more worthwhile to run these instances in Heroic mode. Heroic Botanica: 3926 Heroic Arcatraz: 3085 Heroic Mechanar: 2865
  • Cenarion Expedition - Coilfang Reservoir runs, After getting 0/12000 Honored run The Steamvault. Each run gives just over 1500 reputation if you clear all mobs. Also within the Steamvault lies a repeatable quest, Orders from Lady Vashj, which begins with Orders from Lady Vashj. You will then be able to turn in Coilfang Armaments, which drop in both Steamvault and Slave Pens, receiving 250 reputation for the first turn-in and 75 reputation each thereafter. This turn-in is available all the way to Exalted. when you hit revered run Slave Pens, Underbog, and Steamvault on Heroic Mode and Steamvault on Normal.
  • Honor Hold - Farm all the hellfire citadel heroics, then normals.
  • Keepers of Time - Old Hillsbrad Foothills normal/heroic - 1200/2400 rep , Black Morass - 1200/2000 rep
  • The Consortium - Until honored: Run Mana-Tombs in normal mode, ~1200 reputation per run. Until Exalted : complete all quests and Run Mana-Tombs in heroic mode, ~24000 reputation per run.
  • Sporeggar - Bring 10 Mature Spore Sac to Fahssn to complete The Sporelings' Plight

Bring 6 Bog Lord Tendril to Fahssn to complete Natural Enemies (both of these quests will be available only if you are below friendly)

Kill Bog Lords (lasts until the end of honored)

Kill Marsh Dredgers and Marsh Lurkers (lasts until the end of revered)

Bring 10 Glowcap to Msshi'fn in Sporeggar (lasts only during neutral) . After you hit friendly, turn-in Fertile Spores to Gshaff and Sanguine Hibiscus for Gzhun'tt to complete Bring Me A Shrubbery! - those can be bought from AH or farmed.
  • Sha'tari Skyguard - all daily quests + mob kills, Ogri'la - daily quests. I will recommed you to farm them together because some of the quests gives rep to BOTH factions.
  • Kurenai / Maghar - grind Ogres near Laughing skull ruins and turn-in Obsidian Warbeads. Also dont forget to loot Oshu'gun Crystal Powder Sample - you will need ALOT (350) of them for two talbuk mounts. When you hit 100 just turn-in them in halaa at Chief Researcher Amereldine / Chief Researcher Kartos .
  • Netherwing - Long quest chain and dailies starting from Kindness - after you finish questline you will be able to do the dailies starting from Neutral rep and gather eggs around
  • Timbermaw hold- Reputation with the Timbermaw Hold faction is mainly gained through quests and killing in Felwood. The members of the Deadwood Tribe, another Furbolg tribe in Felwood, are the Timbermaws' main enemies.

Killing one Winterfall or Deadwood Furbolg gives 20 reputation. Gains stop at the end of Honored.

Killing either one of the Deadwood Bosses Overlord Ror or Chieftain Bloodmaw is worth 60 reputation. There is no reputation limit.

Killing the Winterfall Furbolg, High Chief Winterfall, located in a cave east of Everlook, awards 40 reputation. There is no reputation limit, and his respawn rate is 6 to 8 minutes.

Killing the named rare mob Ragepaw is worth 100 reputation. He is a rare spawn at Deadwood Village in Felwood and there is no reputation limit for this mob.

Killing the named rare mob Grizzle Snowpaw is worth 100 reputation. He is a rare spawn at Winterfall Village in Winterspring. Killing him will grant reputation up until Revered.

After completing Deadwood of the North, giving 700 reputation, you are able to turn in 5 Deadwood Headdress Feather which yields 2000 reputation.

After completing Winterfall Activity, giving 700 reputation, you will be able to turn in Winterfall Spirit Beads collected from furbolgs in Winterspring. Turning in 5 beads to Salfa yields 2000 reputation.

Timbermaw Hold - Reputation with the Timbermaw Hold faction is mainly gained through quests and killing in Felwood. The members of the Deadwood Tribe, another Furbolg tribe in Felwood, are the Timbermaws' main enemies.
  • Thorium Brotherhood - Neutral to Friendly - Turn in Incendosaur Scale, Coal and either Heavy Leather, Iron Bar, or Kingsblood to Master Smith Burninate. Friendly to Honored- Turn in Dark Iron Residue to Master Smith Burninante.

    Honored to Exalted :

Turn in Dark Iron Ore to Lokhtos Darkbargainer.

Turn in Core Leather to Lokhtos Darkbargainer.

Turn in Fiery Core to Lokhtos Darkbargainer.

Turn in Lava Core to Lokhtos Darkbargainer.

Turn in Blood of the Mountain to Lokhtos Darkbargainer.
  • Wintersaber Trainers - At Neutral, players obtain Get Them While They're Young, and immediately after, They Grow Up So Fast. It will take a minimum of 20 days for players to complete this quest, as they will get sub-quests each day that reward 1 Winterspring Cub Whisker each. Players will randomly get one of the following quests: 'Borrowing' From the Winterfall, A Cub's Cravings, Cub's First Toy, Hunting Practice. Each of these quests rewards 1,500 reputation.

After 20 days, you'll hit Exalted, getting both Reins of the Winterspring Frostsaber and Cub's First Toy upon completion of They Grow Up So Fast.123
  • The Kalu'ak - Do all borean/howling fjord quests and The Way to His Heart.../Preparing for the Worst Daily quests.

Alot of achieves will become a battle-net account , not the character's part.

You've been able to join Tol barad? Seriously how do you do these things dude.

I queue up with my 85 on my 2nd account (Only when WE have tol barad). Nobody likes to defend TB, and at least on Defias Brotherhood there is never a full TB when defending, so there is always a spot. Also when defending is the only time you can kill siege engines.

Okay so step to step:
  1. Summon your 70 to Tol Barad Penninsula
  2. Queue up to TB on 85 (or have a friend do it)

Also no, you can't get the tower kill achi or any other TB achies than the 3 ones I have.

Kills you can get when Tol Barad is not in an active battle, you won't get ported out.

Been near TB today in a raidgrp, ally were attacking. sry for dumb question, not been on cata PVP zones at all ( yes yes tet is a noob) and didnt get any of demolisher kills - when those demolishers are avaiable ( attackers/defenders ) etc ? Probably i will have to transfer my 85 horde to my realm and bring those demos to the bridge :<

And because im terribly bored this night waiting for 4.3 i will update my guide with all remaining reps that i just skipped

just want to point out that thorium brotherhood is super easy now. either that or it's accidentally bugged to be easy atm. i used a friend's mole machine to get to the bar to turn in lava cores, and the guy let me turn them in even though i was neutral. they were giving 2k + rep too if i remember correctly. it took me like 5 mins and roughly 50 gold to get exalted.

by the way, great guide!

Yep, think it is, as they would say, "Working as intended". Did it awhile ago, While doing the zone quest achievements. Finished the chain and think i was just revered. Spend less then 20g to finish off 999/1000 Exalted, Getting 2000 rep (Give or take) per blue item hand-in.
