69 twink gear farming question.

Hi.

I'm currently running a friend through dungeons and hes level 61.
Does gear dropped at this level scale to 69 in bgs?

Theres about 3 str 4 stam difference per piece depending on the slot from 61-69

That was a Legion system, not sure it works that way right now.

enchants scale, gear doesn't. even heirlooms don't scale to 69 (which is kinda silly)

Gear only scales based on the level you are when you obtain said item.

Basically want to hit 69 then do all your gearing, as the items from Hellfire Ramparts etc that would normally be lv60 will be lv69 then

Yes, you need to be lvl 69 to start farming gear.
I got a lvl 69 twink since WTLK expansion, and now I´m farming new gear and +5 critical +5 intellect gems too.
Twinks at lvl 69 > 60 scaled twinks, in BFA =D

i hope i can answer your question .. i usually run myself in dungeon, i will use 1 lvl 101-120 as lead .. to carry my other 3-4 lvl69 in dungeons, putting all of them on follow .. my lvl69 will consist of a plate a mail a leather and a cloth usually, so that whatever drops can be traded among each of them and not be wasted, the blue gears looted by the 69 will always be for the lvl69 when they get it, but my lvl101-120 will get blue gears that is usable only at lvl80 (usually they are about ilvl100), it does not scale up to lvl101 or 120. but i can still give it to my other 4 low lvl toons of mine for their future use, if there is any future use.
