59 level elemental shaman

Hello. I'm new in twinking, I'm wanting to gear up my 59 twink shaman. I chose some items: Hand of Edward odd, Skullflame shield, 2 Freezing bands and Invulnerable mail. They are probably not good, but i want to use them anyway, bcs they look fun. I need your help.

What are the best items for other slots?
 
I imagine there's some proc gear that should be included, look over old vanilla dungeons like BRD and look around some of the procs are really nice

I wouldn't bother with an ilvl set cuz it will probably be useless come bfa. I'm pretty sure you can also get socket gear from BC dungeons, for mail its helm, chest, gloves, and legs I think

there isnt much here but you can bum around this forum looking at armories for reference, some of it can help even if its not your class/spec

EDIT: Looking at the enhance sham on the armory list it looks like you'll have access to helm, chest, gloves, belt, legs, and boots for sockets. crazy
 
Use any of the TBC socketed items you can get, use the int gems from the PvP Vendor at last check on PTR / Beta they were still +10

iirc without checking @ 59 that's legs, belt , shoulders and possibly head. Swap one of your Freezing bands for http://www.wowhead.com/item=11669/naglering does ~7% of my damage on a 59 Pala. Use Breath of enchants on rings / cloak as at last check they were better than Gift of on both PTR / Beta.

You should get Engineering to 425 for the Goggles and both Trinkets, I quite like this as an alternative to one of the Engineering trinkets http://www.wowhead.com/item=22321/heart-of-wyrmthalak&bonus=4020

You also get access to a couple of the belt tinkers too which will help in BfA when Shaman lose Gust of Wind

This is personally, how I'd gear my 59 shaman in preparation of BFA. Any cloak/shoulder/bracer with haste would be ideal, but for the most part, this is a sturdy build. Mark of the Dragon Lord & meds pouch will likely be BIS in BFA for the /use effects.

I wouldn't bother with Hand of Edward the Odd, as it doesn't proc from spells (unless it has been changed recently) and Elemental doesn't have any melee abilities to help trigger the proc. I could see a holy paladin or mistweaver making some use out of it, but even for them, a haste proc lasting 4 seconds would be situationally useful at best.

Enhancement healing is actually pretty fucking broken. I've done it successfully at 59 & 85 relying on only healing rain / instant surges.

mark of the dragon lord got super nerfed in 8.0 unfortunately. Better off getting gnomer ring if you want vers

Resto is ridiculously strong at this moment. You can survive for a long time even 1v5 or more with relatively little effort. With 3 charges of riptide, 2 charges of healing stream, spreading flame shock and using your lava surge procs in between recharges, you hardly ever need to hardcast at all. The new Spirit Wolf talent is also fantastic if you want to run flags in WSG/TP.

Elemental is in a tough spot. The utility is still there, but damage is way down relative to other classes compared to before this prepatch. If you want to 3 shot people with lava bursts, just play resto and be unkillable while doing so.
 
Correct, i was upping my sham before the patch because it was so insane and for 8.0 elemental is too much nerfed
