As far as ret goes, you are to stack as much AP as you possibly can. AP Increases both ur dmg and ur Sacred Shield's absorb. The longer you can make ur sacred shield last, the more healing u can recieve from it(longer period of time). As far as crit goes(ur potencial burst dmg) you will have plenty of crit from ur talent tree.

your sacred shield will absorb 1974 dmg with that.

It is a retardedly overpowered proc. Actually the formula is ((1+(AP*2.8)) so it is 1974+1=1975
<




If you dial in self buff (might), it becomes a 2171 absorb with that chardev. My question is, it appears to be physical from the description. Is it dispellable? This makes a BIG difference to whether I would gear with less health or not. (I assume it is not).

Nope it's not dispellable or ret paladins would have a reason to bitch @85.
