Healer/dps/healer

Class stacking is allowed but specialization stacking is not
Example:
Retribution Paladin/Holy Paladin/Protection Paladin (Playable)
Retribution Paladin/Restoration Shaman/Retribution Paladin (Not Playable)

Faction swapping is allowed as long as it is permitted by your team list of playable classes.

Each member of a team is granted 1 playable class.
Two of the members on a team are allowed to pick 1 extra class each.
You can have up to 4 members on your team.

Example 1.

Team member 1 Warrior/Mage
Team member 2 Druid/Priest
Team member 3 Monk
Team member 4 Rogue

Acceptable

Example 2.

Team member 1 Warrior/Mage
Team member 2 Druid/Priest
Team member 3 Monk/Shaman
Team member 4 Rogue

Unacceptable: Violates the rule stating only 2 members on a team get to select one extra class each.

When swaping between team members a admin must be notified.

Combat Bug Abuse Policy.

Combat bugging will be a notable but not severe offense. This will be determined by admins but is very unlikely to be punished unless it is on a game changing play or is used very obvious/repetitively.

Example A : A mage sends his pet to get in combat but shortly his entire team is engaging in battle|This is acceptable and not considered abuse of the combat bug.

Example B : A mage sends his pet to get combat while enemy teams rogue restealths across the map. The mage team retreats to opposite side of map while the mage

constantly sends pet to enemy healer and pulls the pet back for heals. In this situation the mage team is using pet to gain combat while sitting behind a pillar afk.

This is considered abuse of combat bug. Why? This is considered abuse of combat bug because the pet is being sent out without truly attacking enemy team and pulled

back while the allied team is behind pillar and just throwing heals on pet. If the pet had of been sent to attack or use special abilities it would not have been considered combat bugging.

Note: In the situation that combat bugging does occur it will not immediately be punished. Admins will gather and decide on these 5 basic principles of the combat bug abuse policy.

1. How did the combat bug change the situation of the arena match

2. Was the combat bug done in counter to the opposing team

3. If a rogue is effected by the combat bug and fails to attempt to sap a target - combat bug abuse rule will not be put into effect unless its a habitual offense.

4. If the rogue attempted to sap a target 3 elements must be determined first.
1. Was the target on DR or Sap or coming off DR shortly
2. Was the sap target unable to gain combat on their own
3. was the failure to sap the target of the rogue a legitimate reason the opposing team won the match.

5. If combat bugging is used to prevent enemy team from gaining mana ;the time frame must be measured and it will be decided if the combat bug was caused by the

manaless teams failure to actually kill the pet. In this situation the pet would be considered eligible to follow the enemy around because its highly unlikely that

in this situation arena logic would demand the pet to be attacked.

Violations of the Combat Bug Abuse Policy will have 4 possible punishments depending on how severe the offense is.

Possible Punishments for violating the Combat Bug Abuse Policy.

CBA offense 1. Replay of a arena match
CBA offense 2. Player is suspended for 1 game(effective immediately) and the match is replayed
CBA offense 3. Player committing the offense is suspended for a entire series(effective immediately) and match is replayed
CBA offense 4. Player is suspended for a entire series and the arena match victory is transferred to the opposing team.

Upon a CBA punishment enforcement a team captain will be able to appeal the issue but only if they wish to use their break time to discuss it. If there is evidence

that cause for a overturning of a CBA offense the team will be granted a complete reversal and their break time spent back.

Disconnections.

If a player disconects while in a arena match admins will decided rather the match will be replayed.

Players have a maximum time of 5 minutes to reconect and join their team after a disconnection. If the problem persist admins will grant additional time.

If a player constantly disconects admins will give you the option to activate your 4th member, take a substitute player of admins approval or forfeit the series.
Note: Upon admin discussion your team could be granted extra time if admins choose to start a different match up in your same tournament stage/group.

Each team will be granted a max break time of 20 minutes for the entire tournament. A max 10 minutes of break time can be used in one series.
To activate break time you must contact a admin and specify the amount of break time you will be spending.
Note : Break time is only in effect after at least 1 game has been played. Break time will not count towards any time granted to you by admins regarding connection issues.

Citizenship.

Disrespect of any admin could cause you to be disqualified for a series or a specific amount of games.
No disrespecting the admins in game , on XPoff.com or on the Twitch chat channel.
We expect every team and person participating to be respectful to others.

Teams will be required to at least be on at 2pm est time unless something serious prevents them from doing so. Admin approval is needed.

Level Requirement : 20

Guess I could just watch the tourneys vod tho

What

And I think it doesn't matter as lobby as your level 20 because there is literally 0 difference between the two gear wise.

I was bringing it To The Top(TTT) for the Trial accounts.
Thus "TTT for the Trials". It is not my place to say whether or not it is for Trials only or not.

TTT is old vernacular for "bump".

I don't get involved in the game anymore but probably shouldn't call it a F2P tourney if there are no gear restrictions.
Gear restrictions were implemented before due to enchants and stat advantage a p2p could gain. Legion has made it so that F2P and P2P teams are relatively event as long as they have a slot equipped. In previous tournaments we allowed Guild looms since most people had them and it added to the aspect of the arena. F2P has had multiple bugs allowing them to obtain over 10g so technically the items in question have not been totally unobtainable to F2P.

F2Ps are not ment to be in Group PvP nor a Arena tournament as that requires grouping. Tournament isn't called the F2P Championship because of gear its called that because most of the players come from F2P and are the active F2P players. Being petty about gear in a expansion that blizzard has made stat templates for every class is useless.

F2P has been restricted but not throughout its entire history. Gear wont make a difference here really. If it did restrictions would clearly apply.

If you don't get it or you have been afk throughout legion like lankypuss then let me explain in short.
There are gear restrictions. BLIZZARD LITERALLY RESTRICTED ALL GEAR making things even as long as they are same level.

We don't need to do what blizzard has already done for us.

This excludes the new weapons(discovered yesterday) that are banned from tournament.

Long story short, for those that do not know. As of 7.xx, playing in instanced PvP(BGs), gear makes a minuscule difference to your stats. For every 10 ilvl above 34(20-29 bracket) a toon would gain an entire 1% in stats. For example, a level 20 would need an ilvl of 44 to enjoy an increase of 1%.

In other words, "skill>gear" rings true now.

Like Trialmop stated, they are mostly concerned with participants being level 20( I presume ). And the reason it is the "F2P Tournament" is because that is what it has been called in the past.

Good luck and have fun!
/cheers
