They are good flag carriers, also support. Just throwing a https://classic.wowhead.com/spell=1044/blessing-of-freedom on a warrior/rogue who is chasing EFC may change the game.
But are they fun to play? Debatable. Healing is slow, https://classic.wowhead.com/spell=19750/flash-of-light comes at level 20, they are nowhere the same as 29s because of that single spell. Using first aid is more beneficial as FC.

seen some retris with https://classic.wowhead.com/item=5815/glacial-stone and the damage is alright, it's better than levelers, but compared to other twinks it's kind of shit, aside from frost mage damage
you probably deal the same overall damage as prot with lifesteal/fiery and https://classic.wowhead.com/item=12645/thorium-shield-spike (good against rogues)

dmg isn't shit, glacial crits for 250 + you're great addition on offence with freedom. It's probably best pug fc if enemy team has no dispels
