The reason you cant morf your old pvp gear is because Blizzard put a limitation on it that only people with old vanilla rank ( dont ask me wich one you need) are able to morf old pvp gear. Since Blizzard cant tell when you have bought your gear, they made it so that all lvl60 gear from the pvp...
