My shammy (signature) when you add feline mantle as shoulders, insignia trinket, tiger goggles / lucky fishing hat and spellaxe from shammy quest + seedcloud buckler shield. Plus AGM and heirloom stuff if you are willing to spend (a lot) more time..

You can get 16 slot bags for 50 honor each from Stormpike quartermaster in Alterac mountains. Gnoll skin bandolier and Harpy hide quiver used to be ammo bags, but since ammo is needed no more, they have changed to normal 16 slot bags.

I've done some calculations for you here. In the Ambush tooltip at lvl 20 it says: "Ambush the target, causing 133% weapon damage plus 55 to the target (192% plus 79 if a dagger is equipped)." Shadowfang (BiS sword) does 29-56 damage, which equals an average of 43. 43 * 1.33 + 55 = 112,19...

Just a side note, but is there any other way to get to Outland than a mage portal? Because it's really hard to find a generous enough mage to do it without payment.

No. Stealthed rogues move at 100% speed in Cata. The subtlety talent "Nightstalker" can increase that to 110%.

Check my sig - not BiS yet, but pretty decent gear already... You can probably tell which ones are not BiS, greens and str stuff mostly.

I often go to Hillsbrad foothills (Tarren mill) with my gnome rogue. Usually 25-29s with heirlooms, nothing's better than one-shotting cocky "my main gotz moar gold then u" toons.
