Item level stacking was a thing in Legion, but your stats no longer scale based off of what item level you have now. I believe it's all just gear based. With that said you've some great GF'd pieces to work with, but as far as the BiS gear for 29 Paladins I couldn't tell you.

Yeah the scaling is all sorts of wack usually with the armory, however I haven't seen anyone else to really reference. It would be much easier to just ask him if you're curious.

Those shaman and priest changes though.

Just look at Pizza's druid armory for example.

Yes, it is possible to get a BG crate off-hand (adaptable) with 5 vers. Just have to land that good good RNG and eventually you'll get it.

I played a few BGs today and had the same stats without gear on, as I did with ilvl 34 WF invasion gear/rings/neck/trinket etc. Not sure what changed, or if its just the bracket. Haven't played in months.

Go play 10-19 bracket and see.

Actually item level doesn't matter in BGs anymore as of recent.
