Yep. I took a lvl 20 twink in there just to see if we were able to use the items from rares. This was done live, probably 5 months ago. On PTR with the same toon, the ring ilvl (31) and req lvl (25) did not change and that rare did not show up as a rare. So the point I was trying to make is, if...

If you looted a rare in one of these zones, it appears you are unable to loot again and gear received at that time will remain at lvl 31 req lvl 25. Kinda bummed I looted that healing ring.

Same thing happen to me the other day. Crazy it dropped on my 5th or 6th run. Shame its just one lvl req away. On my hpal at lvl 20 it shows 315 dmg for life steal, pretty juicy.

I was in Lower Blackrock Spire today on a level 20 toon and an Item lvl 28 epic helm of narv dropped. Now I’m wondering if Skullflame would drop as ilvl 28 as well. Thought it would be ilvl 26 on a lvl 20, but thinking it’s not now. Does anyone know what Skullflame drops for on a lvl 20? Asking...

This is a bummer for me as I recently picked one up as it is BiS for Hpal. If ilvl 24-25 one handers go unchanged, 7 sub stats with a socket leech or speed will be better for some. Now I'm wondering what Heaven's Light will be at ilvl 28? 20 int 6 stam 4 haste 6 vers?

That is correct. I guess we could update info to be more specific. Like, BG RARE BOOTS: 6 main stat, 9 stamina, 9 maximum secondaries, 8 maximum single secondary.
