I just tested it out like an hour ago, i also had the hearthstone set to sw. But i solved it by sending the worgen gold to lock exp and fly to sw before i made my way out of the starting zone, so i did not have to log out in sw, which seems to be the trigger for the hearthstone to change locations.

Yea my rng luck have been crazy, i can promise you that there are no way i will ever lvl him :D

to get a goblin out of the lost isles you can use the raf on a trail account and just teleport yourself out, lock your exp, then hearth back to the isles (but remember not to log off your goblin, as it will set your hearthstone to Org)
