So I don't actually have the staff so take what I say with a grain of salt. However, I don't believe it "duplicates" the spell, but rather the damage at the time. Also, from what I'm reading, the damage is Arcane damage. So it doesn't seem to duplicate the element either.

It's probably impossible today with the xp changes. Both Horde and Alliance could make 99 DHs, but the reason it was more of a problem for Alliance is because Blizzard, in all of their infinite wisdom, put the xp eliminator right next to the kings room, which happens to continue the legion...

For a frost mage I'd probably give Torrent of Elements a try, with Arcane Int it should give you over 80+ SP when it procs. Else maybe Power Torrent, it gives 74 INT at 79, unsure if it's different at 80. Also, GG that Gilneas << Myninja

Yea, I don't think I'd change much of anything else, and would emulate what you have. Depending on how much you value INT and Secondaries, maybe also look at things like Leggings of Calamity from Sunwell, that Ring from Hyjal rep with the proc, and Witching Hourglass from Blackrock Caverns.

Yea it definitely feels like in the open world, I'm getting lvl 31 - 35 greens as 39, but when those gloves dropped I was kind of surprised. Dungeons could be different or have different rules, I suppose. More testing indeed, but I can't put forth the effort to farm the last boss in WC for it lol.

Just curious, but the last boss in WC dropped ilvl 44 Tracker's Gloves of the Quickblade for me over the weekend (on a lvl 39 shaman). Is that boss considered "static" or "Dymanic"?
