Arenarating is a cool idea for sure for the pvpers. To bring PvE up again add something like speedruns in dungeons / raids as a guild group. (https://legacyplayers.com/Raids/Speedrun/) an example how it looks on private servers. But also achievements for clear speeds with a maximum of like 10...

I wasnt playing for 2 years on my char :P At the point where i was playing the most (wotlk and cata with this char) i had completly bis gear. im working on my last pieces atm and watched ur guide. sad to see that these low lvl items scaling that hard in arena :/
