I feel like if you like 85 you can twink 85 and if you like 80 you can twink 80, both levels will be viable, but I feel 85 might have more of an advantage from move choices.

Well it seems the problem is fixed anyway I sent out a ticket and the GM said proper actions were taken on the players who used the bug.

MW monk is actually very good with survivability, believe it or not, WW is also insane on the damage side, if you run WW with a decent healer I believe you could get very high in the arena bracket. I myself am currently making a monk, deciding to make it 85 or 70, we'll see.
