If it's easier at 85 than level 80 then you could probably just by all the highest ilvl str plate items you find on the AH then go and roflstomp it. Blacksmiths can craft ilvl 415 stuff, there's several weapons you can choose from (archeology 463 would be your best bet), shield and everything...
