I was lead to believe that haste and vers stacking (after int of course) was best for mages but I’ve seen a lot of mages recently that look like there balancing there crit and haste, is this the best way to go or should I continue with pure haste?

Yea disc priest and rsham are very good atm regularly out dps pure dps classes in bgs. If you want a dps class then arcane mage and boomkin are very strong atm too
