Yeah it does not work. I tried buying it for the achievement around a year or so back and didn't get it = / Still have it in my bags actually.

A thrown weapon has more "Utility" because its cast time is just a small fraction compared to a gun/bow. So the loss of a few stats by picking up the Thrown is acceptable.

Just snagged a pair of these from the AH for 6g and I believe they are grandfathered but am wondering on that and also if they are worth anything.

Going to be honest. You may have a very hard time getting one for 50k. They are no longer available to get with points anymore. So the only way to have one is to have gotten the code for it before UDE lost their deal with Blizz. Just trying to be helpful ^.^

Arcanums can still be traded through the don not trade window though I believe. I'll be testig this later tonigt some time to confirm though.

I was just going through my mains bank when I came across an "Arcanum of Rapidity" that I made way back in vanilla. I know they require lv 50 now to use, but is there anything else better for the 50-60 bracket? Also I checked and found that you can no longer make these anymore as well.
