  1. EU+US What do you think so far?

This is an understatement. Damage is higher than its ever been in this bracket. The fact that they removed level scaling and baseline resilience tells me that they never even bothered to test anything other than max-level PvP.
  2. EU+US 20 BiS?

It seems strange to me that they would intentionally make it so that people at the low end of the bracket have a 30% chance to miss people at the high end. Twinking aside, this really messes up PvP for people who are leveling, i.e. paying customers. I feel like this has to be an oversight, but...
  3. EU+US 20 BiS?

Have they actually said that they intended to remove scaling? I thought their intention was to equalize the playing field after increasing the level spread of the brackets.
  4. Are battlegrounds dead since 6.0.2?

A few of us moved back to the English bracket, but we hardly play anymore because it's not worth sitting in queue for 20+ minutes only to be matched with a bunch of 2500 hit-point jajas.

  6. We could do more

The funny thing about the original AP rerollers is that they weren't any better than many of the 'randoms' I played with in the English EU (pre-jaja invasion) and German brackets, but the piss poor state of the US bracket had them believing that they were better at the game than they really...
  7. Hows the bracket

You didn't mention where you're from. The English EU bracket is on life support (1+ hour queues) and the German bracket is dead. The North American bracket is really the only option for F2Ps in WoD, which is a shame since it's the worst of the 3.
  8. WOD Healers

Disc is very self-sufficient in WoD thanks to strong bubbles and respectable instant-cast/passive damage. Where they used to have to fall back on SW:P spam when something was humping their leg, they can now spam Holy Nova while SW:P and Holy Fire tick. This might not seem like a big deal on the...
  9. What shall become of Rets?

Ret is fine. Great short-term burst healing but can be forced to go OOM. Good damage but not as good as druids (balance and feral), rogues, monks or warriors (no finisher). Can be endlessly kited by druids and hunters. The real issue is how awful holy paladins are now, but I guess that wouldn't...
  10. The Future Potential of F2P In-game Comms

Finding the maturity to coexist with people who don't measure up to whatever arbitrary standards have been set by the current crop of elitist assholes would be a solution. Giving said elitist assholes another tool with which to exclude people is the opposite of a solution.
  11. The Future Potential of F2P In-game Comms

This pretty much nails it. I started playing on AP in the summer 2011 and left the server by the end of Cata because of the cliquishness, which was already an issue when I arrived. I got along fine with everyone I played with, but I didn't like the atmosphere of exclusion that a handful of...
  12. FoTM classes and tiers (for now)

Resto druids are the strongest healers in this bracket by a pretty wide margin right now. The fact that they can output respectable damage in cat form is a huge bonus because it gives them something that the other healers don't have. Disc is back to being a great large-scale BG healing spec...
  13. Queue Time Fix and My Thoughts (LONG read)

There's probably more than enough people sustain the extra BGs in the leveling brackets, but our bracket can't handle something as large as AV. As the OP pointed out, a single AV is the equivalent of 4 WSGs, and it's much more efficient to gradually corral that many players into 4 smaller games...
  14. FoTM classes and tiers (for now)

The term originated within the Japanese fighting game community in the early '90s, many years before Smash Bros. came out. The first time I saw a 'tier' list was in a 1994 issue of Famitsu (Japanese gaming magazine) and it was for Super Street Fighter 2: Turbo.

  16. So... the 29s complaints started

I'd like to see some hard data that shows this supposed 'health' disparity. I doubt it's nearly as significant as the extra abilities that level 29s have access to. In fact, I bet it's probably less than a 10% difference, just based on what I've seen in BGs so far.
  17. Battlegrounds que times?

I'm pretty sure I saw some Spanish realms during the single game I was able to play today. The level of play was certainly...Spanish.

  19. Prot pallys

Actually, Blizzard's stated goal in regard to the role of tanks in WoD PvP is that they should be virtually indistinguishable from a DPS class. This is why they brought back Vengeance and applied a debuff that increases tank damage taken by 25% from other players. Of course, that 25% debuff...
  20. Warlords of Draenor Changes for F2P

Someone on this forum said that the chest enchant scales down to 8 or 9 hit points, but I can't find the post anymore.
