    Would likely be calculatable, but without exact ingame info I can't check, and I can't login for another ~week or so. Need a script to output resistance values as the character sheet used to, and a large amount of resistance gear to get a step-by-step increase of resistance. Will see what I can do.

    Depends how much damage you want to reduce. I'm assuming you'd already fare well against that setup, would you actually need both resistances? You're right, though to get the same level of arcane resist you would need more gems.

    I'd suggest looking at the resistance pieces first, since they offer about as much per piece as the entire set of gems. Will likely be less of a stamina loss, if you're going for all-out survival (JWC made rings, black temple shadow resist gear, badge bought fire resist gear etc)

    Depending on what you're facing, it may be better to give up an item for a crafted resistance piece. There's fire, shadow, nature and frost resist gear available at 70, depending on your armor type. Only exception is holy damage, which afaik can't be resisted :)

    Whilst I say it's not necessary, my sims for 85 put expertise ahead of agility vs 90 content, so it's possible it's still more damage to cap both. You've got plenty of available slots to do so, and there's a large amount of hit already on rogue gear. Toss in a weapon chain or two and expertise...

    Assassination has very little need for expertise, since it's damage is poisons and glancing blows reduce melee damage to virtually nothing :) That said, he was only in for some of the normal kills.

    Even so, you gain next to nothing with stacking dodge as there's a 19.5% reduction per​ avoidance vs 83 mobs. Better stacking hit/expertise and have a higher uptime on shield block (which isn't reduced). Warriors are by far the best tanks in the instance anyway :)
