Interesting... I wonder if the lvl requirement is higher than the tooltip indicates, OR if the scopes are just broken for the time being.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I've been testing scopes on lvl 19 and it appears most of them no longer work. Incendiary, Frost-Laced, X-Ray, Flintlocke's Diamond-Cut, and Khorium scopes all seem to have a lvl req of at least 20. Also the tooltips in Engi are incorrect on PTR for those scopes...

So I have quite a few of the BWL/MC epics farmed up and saved due to those being BIS a few years back. In general, from what I have seen the only slot where the epics seem to be better than TBC or WotLK gear is the weapon slot. Other than weapons, I don't think BWL/MC epics can beat out gem...

No I didn't try with Deja stats yet. I just looked at tooltip damage.

+AP to bracers or weapon? Because the +12 AP to bracers enchant still works. Same with +12 AGI to cloak.

Jewelcrafting is gonna be big in SL. I think Engineering and Jewelcrafting will be the BiS professions, with Alchemy as another strong choice.

That's a good find, but since it's low ilvl, no sockets, and the set bonus is rather weak, I doubt it will see any play... Keep looking for more unique gear like that though!

ALL leg/shoulder/scopes have a required lvl now for the enchant to work. Most enchanting enchants still work, though a few are a bit buggy.

True, and I am doing that with some other 39's that I care less about.

I wouldn't lvl past 44, since that is the highest lvl that will squish down to 19. I personally am shooting for lvl 42 on my GF'd 39, since it appears that on pre-patch, your character will be 1 XP from lvling to the next lvl, which is a little too close for comfort for me.
