The OP was asking as a level 15. (see original post) he was just asking the level 20 community b/c he knows they have experience with the sets. So can you get Wastewalker 4 piece set as a 15?

You might be right about the plate legs, the leather shoulder set drops off of a spawned mob from the boss only on Heroic, not sure if the loot for the boss also is heroic specific or not. So I'm only seeing that you can get the 4 piece set of the cloth and plate. not the leather or mail.

Hate to tell you but you can't get the 4 piece set at 15 or 20 for that matter. Some if not half of those drop off heroic mobs or heroic dungeons that require at least level 25. So unless you know a hack/glitch into those, you can't get them. For example Doomplate set. Doomplate Chestguard...

IMHO they only work for lower levels. The added armor and stamina help me tank and with mongoose on both weapons it makes up for any loss of DPS. When I first started this toon it was for straight dungeon gear, hadn't done any artifact quests, might do it later.

Claws of the Watcher come from the first boss in Auchenai Crypts (15-30), which is one of the reasons I didn't mind twinking a level 15 DH.

I'm pretty much done, just looking for the occasional WQ for gear (cloak, boots and trinkets) with a chance to proc WF+socket. It takes 17 neck level to get from item level 68 to 69, so not really trying to do that. Lowbow - Character (worldofwarcraft.com)

Old news, they fixed that a while ago with the XP off debuff. So boosting is not the reason for this new change.

Every x-pac there are those that twink just below the current level gate to max the benefits of the insane power boost that the new gear brings to the game. (Have you looked at the stats on the new gear?) Which is why I personally have 60, 70, 85, 99, 101, 110 twinks and I know I'm not the only one.
