    Damn, those guys were shady. The debuff only applies to the people originally grouped with the XPOff-er. Also, they likely didn't had the debuff on them, so there was no reason for them to worry.

    You don't need to change anything in the future, but you and your friend can queue separately for a specific dungeon, and only accept if it pops at the same time for both of you. This will allow you guys to requeue after a dungeon, and prevent the debuff, even if you party with an XPOff-er.

    Someone I met in a dungeon asked me exactly that, how to dodge the debuff to PL his buddy and I didn't have the answer, ty Eleannor for info.
