You can post all of your "good riddance, who cares" etc. - but it's sad to see so many long-time players leaving. Many of these players are the ones who support this game day after day through the long down and dreary times and not just for a few short weeks around new events until the novelty wears off.
Who will be here to support this game when the novelty wears off and many head back to Diablo, HS, Overwatch, etc.?
Many of the friends I've made over 7 years in this game have become closer than family - we know each others likes and dislikes, families, kids, life events.
Many of us moved on and became facebook, email, or even face-to-face friends and contacts.
We are the pillars who found this gem of a game, stuck with it faithfully, played day after day, month after month ... and now for a number of reasons we are dropping like flies.
I hope that I will encounter those of you I count as appreciated acquaintances who may not be on my "close friends" list in other games, forums, or out and about.
I know that all things change - but not all change is good.
The Real problems in this bracket, are the ones that make others leave, you know, the hypocrites, whiners, and just toxic players in general.
I recent encountered a problem that i have to get off my chest.
I don't appreciate calling people out, so I'm going call this person Carl (You know who you are).
This person literally is one of the biggest Hippocrates i have met.
Carl continued to make jokes of diseases / viruses such as HIV/AIDS, Cancer, and other jokes that just aren't right.
My uncle's friend recently lost her battle to breast cancer, in which during the time we spent 2 weeks making and delivering food to the hospital. This is one of the reasons why I didn't agree on these jokes.
Another factor that i don't want to focus mainly on, is my religion. It states that (In English translation) nobody should make fun of somebody else's misfortune, or they will wake up the next day in sorrow with the same problem.
This person shut me out because I "talked too much" even though Carl is probably is the one who is known for talking the most in this bracket.
I wanted to include much much more, but it would reveal the identity of Carl, and i don't want to be that guy.
Tell me if you agreed with anything i said.
