Yeah 78+ will definitely have advantages. There are even some quite influential abilities being learned already at 72 for some classes. I really think a lot of twinks will be tempted to level a little bit just like we saw during 5.3 when people discovered they could level to 74. I'm personally sticking to my "never level a twink" rule as always.
Regardless, just like 79 ferals with clone and bash aren't much of problem in our current arena scene, I don't think they will be in Legion either. Why not? Because they usually suck.
If nothing else we'll at least be able to farm the vast numbers of honorbuddies that are found in leveling bgs 8)

Looks like we're gonna have to re-enchant everything again.
They fixed the expansion order of enchants to make all newer expansion enchants be better than older ones. So a Stamina enchant on cloak from MoP will be better than a Stamina enchant on cloak from WotLK. Until now this wasn't always the case (remember all the stupid stuff about +stats on chest, that's over now with just one being the best).
They actually go up in stats, which is another plus.
