Thanks, this needs to be changed, bo7 with a win advantage makes no sense at all in a "double elimination" tournament, even with a win advantage you're still technically only losing 1 series

A lot of people were pissed last year when the same format happened in the WSG portion of the TC (team that went to grand finals from winners got a win advantage, not double elimination), so I have no idea why it was voted for again this year

That would mean it was all just a big stunt to bend the rules to their favor?? :eek: nah that doesn't sound like sr....
 
where is the hype at though, feel like last years TC was way more hyped than this.

This far into WoD, there just isn't the numbers/interest in WoW at the moment. People are waiting for Legion. The lead-up to the tourney has been shorter/quieter, which is unfortunate because the people behind it are (imo) the best so far. Hopefully this TC will be a good test run for the organizers leading to the 1st Legion TC, which should be like the first 2 in terms of scale/interest.
 
@Conq @Blackout When will the rules be changed, ie real double elimination and banning double MM? Cause I showed double MM against starter to show that there is a loophole in the rules, if you plan to keep it you'll regret it ;)
