EU So how do we make horde great again ?

What should we do to balance the sides ? I like playing one dimensional dps characters, but i don't see that as an option that would help Horde. And at some point i would like to build a stable of characters to the Alliance side or play the few i have there, but i don't really get any enjoyment out of faceroll wins.

Well u could play warrior/ bm because horde always seems to lack front liner!

just play feral druid =)

Horde needs good disc priests. Not their current quality. it doesnt feel like the horde teams ever lack anything massively important. Just overall quality of some key parts are lower. Hunters who dont cut / defend, discs who cant pre heal etc.

I've played warrior/bm. At this point i'm either positioning badly/overextending or there is something seriously wrong with the healing side of things. I don't really like to blame anyone semi randomly since it's rarely productive so i also rolled a disc priest to see that side of the team.

Dunno generally i'm not too happy to hear constant random shit talking when i'm trying to get enough games in with a spec to get any good at it. Last time i got random shit while playing disc from a hunter that rage quit after doing half my damage when i wasn't prioritizing damage at all. I would love to play my hunter since that's by far easiest for me to get good again, but i feel like i'm not doing enough with it to make a difference. With a hunter somehow i'm expected to cover 2/3 of the field and consistently solo EFCs with hundreds of hours of play time while playing other classes i see our hunters failing at it when there's 2-3 of them.

Dunno i would like to get some guides for frontline and healers for pugs. Like why shouldn't i prebubble as a disc when the opposing team has a single resto as their healer and 2 rogues. I don't see how the resto would ever have a free global for a purge or that we wouldn't gain more than we lose from it.

Hunters track map movements and are able to kill druids quite effectivly solo. They can help at mid but should break off for efc. Hunters can also "spot" stealth's within close range and be annoying on defence with mend pet comb "bug". They should not be topping damage charts.

Pre bubbling is fine, i dunno why you wouldnt specially if you can predict burst and as you said there single Rshaman wont get a chance to purge. If you notice there is more than 1 priest on your team you can have 1 play aggresive and just damage while the other focuses solely on shielding and healing although in pugs it probly wont work cuz most are shit and dont communicate.

I was given a random ultimatum by another disc that if i prebub he would AFK. As he did around the 5min mark. Obv i prebubd when i had free globals because the Alliance didn't have the comp to punish us for it. Afterwards i wondered if there could be some other reasons to avoid prebubbling. Dunno i have bout 5 games in with a disc in the last 5 years, but i'm willing to learn.

It was actually the game at the end of blackouts latest vod. I think it was my second or third game with the priest that i rolled the day before.

I'm new in this bracket (only played 20), and gave it a shot for 1.5 week now. For a newbie , it seems horde never ever has an FC or EFC killers. Healing happend, but not enough.
The big difference from 20's is for me, that in this bracket , i always just get 1 shot killed by whatever (rogue/feral/...) now that may be just cause i'm new or lack of healing ... dunno.
But so far , i'm not really motivated to stay (and get better) in this bracket. So i hope this changes fast ; )

For me it seems that some players on the horde side keep expecting new/returning players to be amazing at their class the minute they hit the gulch. Know the bracket and current meta while having flawless mechanics. And at the same time they want more players to shorten the Q and get more games going for longer. That's just not happening if you don't let people get better.

Toxic shit does nothing to me because i'm used to it and i know where it comes from, but i know we are losing new players to it and we can't keep doing that if want the bracket to grow.

literally impossible games for horde with 0 warriors and boomies that dont bind spells vs ally that has 2x warr and a healthy amount of healers. Ally also has FC queueing consistantly from what ive seen aka MVQ while horde doesnt.

The reason pre bubbling can be bad is it often heals things that bubble wasn't needed to heal through. Try to save your shields to "cushion" players from large hits so you can top them easier with hard casts afterwards. Don't just bubble people on cd. Try to bubble incoming damage as you see it so that bubble aren't weakened by latent dots and random inconsequential damage. When I heal on my disc I hate healing with other discs because they have a gameplan that messes mine up, shielding over eachother is really irritating and I usually ask politely that they don't bubble unless im not in the fight and prefer them to focus on damage and spamming out heals instead of shields.

It's mainly a case of stepping on people's toes and not applying shields when a flash heal would suffice. You have no instants other than shield as a disc so that "first response" needs to be PW:S.

I agree with you. Horde only has boomie as FC or resto druid without DB, its always a hard time getting someone to take the damn flag!

All this is good shit. I mostly pre the frontline, rogues going deep and any other dps i likely can't help later on. On horde we usually get 2 healers if we are lucky so when the first team fight starts i have very few globals to spare. Oh and hunters/pets that bother to mend pet since shields are our only on the run heal when there are opposing rogues.

I'll make a Horde FC soon so I can help out on Horde side!
