So awhile ago I did this quest chain as alliance, but I picked a different reward, because this was before this chest piece was even really relevant. Was wondering if anyone knew that if I faction that I could do this quest chain again? I know it's available to both factions, but I don't know if it's like the WC quests where you can't do it again, even after swapping factions.

Let me know, thanks.

No, can't do it again when you swap. It's the same quest available to both sides unlike WC ones where there is one for horde and one for alliance, just same rewards etc.

Scales to 11 int 7 stam 8 haste

Just Put a ticket in and have a Gm switch your award. I have done it several times, always works no problem

Thanks for the info!

Not sure how you've gotten it done multiple times, because I can't even get GMs to reverse a server transfer for me anymore.

I had a GM revert server transfers, never tried reversing a quest reward though

I can confirm that GMs DO switch your quest rewards as long as you do not enchant, mog, or use the item in PvP because for them you are "changing the game experience" by using an item to its advantage then trying to use another item to its advantage

GMs actually switch quest rewards, but you have to play it around and be patient.

1. Delete your actual award.
2. Wait 40+ days, for the item to expire off the item restoration tab.
3. Create a ticket, about another random topic mainly, that they will not be available to sort out.
4. Seem desperate in the live chat about that topic. The GM will eventually ask every time, "Is there something else i can help you with" ?
5. You will say "Yes, ...", and explain the situation properly, making it seem like you may have deleted the item you want instead of the one you accidentally got.
6. Most of the times, in this situation, the GMs want to help you at least with anything, so its a double. They will look into IcyVeins to see if you have completed the quest, then directly afterwards they will restore the requested item.

Has worked for me like 3+ times, it should work for you was well.

Take it easy.

I'd be willing to try this. Thanks

This also works but if you get caught doing this then you will be convicted of tricking a GM and will be punished on how many bans you have

Considering it is his first time, he may as well give it a shot.
