EU+US Level 10 sub.

When you guys were a seperate bracket it made sense; I don't think there is a big enough 10 community to justify it.

Making a level 10 for duels and world PvP? Cool.

Making a level 10 for BGs? Well, you have no talents, less abilities and worse gear. In a bracket where everybody is trying to max their shit, you have to understand you are a detriment to your team.

For THIS xpac. Since Blizz is so famous for completely changing shit up every xpac to "keep it fresh" we have no idea if 10's will again be viable in BG's come Legion. To the OP, Twink 10 if you enjoy level 10 and disregard all the 19's spouting filth at you.

Also, what the vast majority seem to have forgotten is that most of us that started Twinking 10 did so for our Bankers since Blizz won't reimburse you if your account gets hacked on ANY Characters below 10. Then it got really popular for a good while. Currently 10 is just for show but that can change at any time.

That still doesn't change the fact that right now level 10's are a detriment to their team. Unless this changes, doing a level 10 t-wink sub isn't much different to me locking XP at some odd level which doesn't make sense and want a seperate sub for these levels as well. Not hating. But it doesn't make any sense to make level 10 t-winks right now. You're purposely not getting the most out of your bracket/character/whatever.

I've given 10s my share of hate in the past, but honestly, the inclusion of a competent level 10 vs having a 19 won't make an appreciable difference in the vast majority of games. The problem is when you get the 10s that don't know what they are doing.

All of my personal, Grandfathered 10 Twinks are closing in on 7 years old, and I am one of the oldest still active (relative term there) Twinkers in WoW. I wouldn't change mine for anything as I have so much time invested in them. That said I also don't BG these days, haven't for a couple years, but that doesn't mean I'm wasting my time Twinking 10 nor that I don't enjoy Twinking 10. When I originally Twinked my 10's they were so stupidly OP that everyone cried about us constantly, currently in WoD we're sub par, in Legion that could change all over again. This is why I tell folks if they want to Twink 10 then do so but be prepared for the '19s Master Race' to spout filth at them constantly.

BTW, I'd love to hear the argument as to why spelling out the T-wink (without the -) gets auto corrected to Tink. It's a seriously homophobic choice that Myrm or whomever coded that made. We are and forever will be T-WINKS not Tinks.

It is because the word prevents the site from getting accepted for advertising revenue, so please don't try to circumvent it, as the coding's purpose was to make the site financially viable.

Seriousl? Google won't allow a word that we've been using for nearly a decade on what was TI and MMO Gamers have been using since EQ times? I mean I'm fine with you all trying to make a buck as it helps keep sites like this going, but did you all try and push our side of it? I ask because for a while there were a bunch of people on TI refusing to associate themselves with the correct term and would only use Tink because they were homophobic asshats.

Let's just say many attempts were made at it, much time and effort spent, and consistently negative results. This has nothing to do with homophobia.

Well that sucks that Google is being douches and purposely censoring the Internet to fit their own sense of morality or whatever. I certainly appreciate that you all tried and I will, begrudgingly, not bypass the word anymore as it isn't TI's fault.

But does grandfathered level 10 twinks and insane amount of time used make it more or less right, that you are detriment to your team, compared to someone equally geared/skilled on a level 19? - And nobody is wasting their time as long as they're having fun and not trying to make it into something it's not. Everybody should be free to do whatever they want with their characters, but in the level 10-19 bracket, it's a fact that you guys are going to be a detriment to your team, at least right now. You're part of the 10-19 bracket, why wouldn't you just post here?

As long as you're in the 10-19 bracket I don't see a reason why anybody would need a specific sub because they choose to lock xp at some specific level inbetween.

Honestly, this is the shit we don't need. We can have a friendly dicussion without having to write shit like this, which can get stuff started.

There WAS a Level 10 Sub Forum for a while but it's gone now. In fact I don't even "have permission" to view any of my old posts for some reason so not sure what's going on there.

My best guess was because there was a incentive from a twink perspective to stop at that level. Right now there's no reason what so ever to stop at 10 and not later, from a bracket perspective.

Ok I guess I have to correct you and others who think like you. First, Twinking 10 is perfectly viable because if that's what the Player wants and has fun doing, then so be it. Second, Blizzard WILL NOT REIMBURSE YOU if anything is lost due to hacking or w/e, including the Toon deleted, from Levels 1-9 so that tosses those levels you say out the window. Third, there are MANY perfectly viable levels between 10 and 99 to Twink at, so to state that ANY random level between 1-100 is ignorant. Fourth, the 10 Sub Twink Forum was just a few months ago, not years. It was before this site changed to what it is now. There is still a large community of 10 Twinks, even if many aren't active at this time and some of them even have 19's, and thus Myrm created the 10 Sub forum back in like September 2015.

The level 10 sub-forum was actually made because of friction between 10s and 19s.
