XPOff & TI Merge

At 10 AM EST we started the process of merging XPOff and TI. This process has taken some time to complete due to the sheer amount of information involved, but it is now complete. The goal of this thread is to keep you all informed of what has already been done and what will happen moving forward.

This is a list of all the information that was pulled from TI:
  • Users
  • User following and ignore lists
  • Conversations
  • Profile posts
  • Forum nodes, threads and posts
  • Post edit history
  • Polls
  • Attachments
  • Likes

All of the forum content that existed on TI will not be merged with our current forum outright. All of the forums and threads from TI have been archived in a hidden subsection of our forum, which allows our staff to dig through it and easily transfer content around. Part of the goal of this website is to have a fresh start, which means a lot of it will be left behind. We will, however, make a combined effort to pull quality content from TI over to XPOff in the coming weeks.

We have set up a redirect from TI which will take users to XPOff, which means you will no longer have access to the TI forums. This might not be in effect currently, but it will be up and running within the next few hours.

Some users might have issues with their accounts after the merge. If you encounter any, you should post them in this thread.

We have covered a few of the usual questions in our FAQ, but if you have any further questions regarding the merge, you can post them in this thread.

Sincerely,
XPOff

Hype, great idea.

Will it be possible to merge our TI user with our new XPOff user? My name on TI was blaze and tbh I pref Mvq.

Absolutely. Post the request in the thread linked at the bottom and we'll get right on it.

also my sig from ti is that possible to find? i havent had the picture since like 2011 :(

Signatures probably aren't salvagable, unfortunately.

Edit: We're looking into finding the SQL table containing the user profiles, but in the meantime, some signatures can be salvaged using cached pages. https://archive.org/web/
