World Pneumonia Day

Flamer

2014 and 2016 Twink Cup Champion
As most of you know, today is World Pneumonia Day. When I was a baby twinker on Azgalor a few years back, I had a 19 twink hunter friend named Ghoret. He actually got Pneumonia and ended up having to quit WoW because he got so far behind with school and didn't have time to spend playing this game. I never got in contact with him after he quit, and really hope he is okay, and isn't another 19 twink death statistic, since we all know that if you don't hear from someone after some time they are automatically dead.

Make sure to spread awareness of Pneumonia to your friends and family in real life.

Troll post. You don't care about anyone but yourself.

I got pneumonia a couple of weeks ago. Fortunately, it didn't decrease my WoW playing time.

I had Pneumonia while on vacation in the Dominican with my girl, thinking it was just a cold. Didnt get checked out until a week after I was back, and didnt feel better until another week or two after that.

I went to work and played WoW and partied in the Dominican Republic just fine.

Is it even possible to die from Pneumonia these days? The most common medical help (Antibiotics) usually resolves it after a week.

Most people who die from it are from countries without access to medical help, hence why the death numbers are around the 50 million a year. (1 billion people live in africa FYI)

I mean, I would understand if you'd be worried about Ebola or aids, since there isn't a known cure. But god damn, people die from motherfucking bee stings too, calm the fuck down.

In regards to a healthly adult, it isnt as bad to treat.

But in regards to children and the eldery i.e people with a weak immune it can be fatal (same way hiv/aids kill people)

BBC Science - What is pneumonia and why can it be so deadly?

Next time google it so you dont look so ignorant xD
