59 Prot/Arms Warrior

Hey all I have been checking out gear and armories. With not having access to BoA's what do you consider the next best 2-hander? I know the RageReaver can take the WoLK enchants. Can any of the old world 2-handers that are above item level 60?



What do you consider the best enchant beserker I am figuring?



Say the RageReaver is BiS, the issue arises that the quest it is a reward for appears to provide the BiS 1-hander.



Anyone put any extensive thought in to this?

Rage reaver is your only option really, there are no decent epic ones until 60 (Dark Edge of Insanity)

[item]Treant's Bane[/item]

[item]Arcanite Reaper[/item]

[item]Halberd Polearm[/item]

[item]Ice Barbed Spear[/item]

[item]Blackhand Doomsaw[/item]





All of which are comparable. One or 2 that take wotlk chants (lol). Get them all.





You can also do the same thing for your 1h'er.

Yeah I was looking at some of them, what I was curious about was if the Treant's Bane could take the WoLK enchant. It has an item level over 60?



Edit: I was looking at the Persuader as well wondering if it can take WoLK enchants. Hmm maybe I will just get some and find out lol

No, it can't. Anything with a level requirement (eg: requires level 58) wont take wrath chants. Doesn't matter what the item level is. Only thing you can put those chants on are quest rewards.

Thanks man. So that pretty much puts the RageReaver as the only 2-hander that can take WoLK enchants that is accessible at 59. Crappy thing is the 1-handed sword is the the slowest 1-hander that you can get out of the 2 available I believe unless I missed something.

ice barbed spear



both take wotlk chants

I wouldn't consider the 1h worth giving up the 2h for. A BoA or even 59 green with Crusader would be just fine, given that 1h is typically used with a shield, and the 100str will give you a bunch of block value and an (admittadly small) heal as opposed to pure AP and lost armor.

Additionally if you're horde, you can get Blade of the Unyielding, which is very nearly as good.

Good point. I think if I ever start playing my warr again, I'll put in a ticket to get the 2h quest reward instead of the 1h. I never actually looked this deep into it, lol!
