39s, The Future and Regarding Bracketmaster

Like 4 JCM people have actually been in contact for the last month or so. The Skype group/guild activity is barren. Most of JCM joined exclusively for premades(and only with the same 19s team members), but since they didn't really happen in any capacity/no solid twink cup on the horizon, it's understandable they lost interest. The game itself isn't really fun anymore, it's the competitive aspect that keeps a lot of people subscribed.

That being said, I see so much whining/pining for premades but hardly any effort being put in to make them. Try to make a team! There's more than enough randoms with experience who just solo queue.

Just trying to say, this bracket is fueled by you guys. Nothing is going to happen if you don't make it -- just showing interest isn't enough.

The twink cup release date will be posted after Blizzcon, so we can have an idea of when Legion comes out, this will be in 3 weeks approximately. Lets have a big hype for it :)

I would hope that people are not sacrificing IRL friends/activities over playing 39's.
Got get outside!!!

/cheers

If I am playing on a friday or saturday night, that means I decided to play games over going out with friends. Unless you only have 3 friends, this applies to many people.

If you are over the age of 20 and still poking fun at people not going outside you must be insecure as fuck.

+1
When my friends say "Hey let's do something Fri/Sat" I would always encourage Fri because I liked to play 39s. But it's only worth it if it's a whole night of queues.

Hey,

Old twink here originally from the 29 guild Detox on Lothar server. Then made a 39 mage named Corkus for Boostz guild around 2010? Was wondering if you guys know if any of the old Detox members play (poisonblade, soopermanjr) etc. Also is it worth it to come back to play in the 39 bracket?

while I don't know about any of your old buddies it is definately worth coming back to 39. 39s is unique in that every game both teams have and use team speak. This gives all games a hint of premade communication with a laid back feel that's quite fun. I would definatly hop in for a game . Glad to have you with us :)

No where in that statement of mine that you quoted was I "poking fun" of anyone. If you can find it, please highlight it.
I would certainly hope a person would choose real life activities over virtual ones, no matter what your age demographic may be.

If a friend came up to me and said, "Hey you want to go to the 'inset whatever here' ?" I would say, "Sure!". Whilst some(not all) here on TI would say. "Nah, I can't, I have to play WoW tonight."

PB went mia 3 years ago. Soop plays seasonally, megatron could get you in touch. Huargo is around. Guerilla is available on Skype. Tungtwista played a few this revival.

"I would hope that people are not sacrificing IRL friends/activities over playing 39's."

What you just said there is implying that people who play 39s over irl things are making a poor choice. (poking fun of/judging)

There is always something else to do irl. Meaning, every time you play 39s, you are sacrificing doing something irl.

Hoho... You are quoting out of contex, my friend. When in fact "sacrificing IRL friends/activities" were your own words before they were typed by me.
And I still stand by opinion.

Sorry I assumed everyone had a large enough friend pool to have something to do every weekend other than 39s. Your opinion is 100% correct in that case. No one should sacrifice their yearly obligated friend get together for 39s!

And that could be why you see so many people playing WoW for hours upon hours each and every night. They only "friends" they have are in game.
A phenomenon that is being studied in great detail I can assure you.

What?

Me: Q nights need to last longer otherwise people will go out with friends (yes I would choose 6 hours of 39s over a bar night that happens 3 nights a week)

You: People should never play wow over irl friends/activities. go outside! cheers

Me: Some of us always have something going on. You're a dick head for telling people what is right/wrong to do with their free time.

You: I am not a dick head. Show me where I was a dick head. That statement where I was a dick head is negated because my opinion of what people should do with their free time is true! cheers

Me: *Shows example of dick head opinion.* If we always said yes to what we were invited to irl we would never touch a computer game due to stuff always happening.

You: You are quoting out of context! You said it first! I still think anyone who disagrees with me has their priorities messed up! cheers

Me: What you are saying really only applies to those with 0 friends because they only play wow every day/night.

You: EXACTLY! Their only friends are in game. Its such an interesting phenomenon!

Simpler words for you.
This originally started with me saying 39s needs to have appeal to it (longer than 45 min Q nights) or people will choose irl things over 39s.

You decided to respond with nothing constructive and gave your dick head 2 cents.
