39s, The Future and Regarding Bracketmaster

Unfortunately the gameplay is at arguably an historic low.

That's the reason I CBF. I'm not going to hop from yolo to yolo RBG group every 3 wins or sit through hundreds of 2s/3s(especially since I main warlock) when everyone I face will be significantly more (or in most cases fully)geared than I am -- JUST to deal with the way 100 pvp feels right now anyway.

Although, tournament gear wargames would be pretty sweet.

10 honor geared 39s @100 would be fine i would think.

Playing with friends makes it fun. Using the groupfinder for 2s/3s/RBG is tiresome.

Ashran, reguardless of its rep could be a lot of fun with a group of friends.

I have basically been unable to attend the last 3 game nights. I should hopefully be available for Wednesday (WSG/TP again due to participation issues). I won't be available Saturday.

Most likely looking at an early resignation from me. RL and work has really taken over. I still somewhat run the funding guild, but even there my participation has been weak lately.

Ashran is/can be a lot of fun. The first itineration was better if it was not for the queue times. We should at the very least be able to queue with a group of five into it.

Thanks for the communication. Sorry to hear it's 2 months before expected. In the absence of a new bracketmaster stepping up, perhaps it's time to set a closing date for the pug side of the revival.

This will 100% kill the bracket. Stop saying things like this! The Bracket is growing, all be it slowly. But growth none the less. In the absence of boostz the bracket has been going ok, so why would you close pugs because he stated his absence would continue? I say we start nominating a new Bracket Master.

You can't see the forest for the trees. Week by week 39s has lost regulars without new blood joining. The pug scene could continue but it will take a lot of effort and communication on behalf of someone. That means adding the entire bracket to Btag. The unfortunate reality is that everyone else should have been doing that already. That way a new bracketmaster could hit the ground running and not have to search out the btags of all the people who've slowed down queueing of late.

There are new players every week bro, i see them.

Getting a new Bracket Master isn't going to fix the lack of interest by players that initially qued but don't anymore. I believe removing pug restrictions will though.....this is just my opinion. And it drives players wanting restrictions to group up and make a squad, or join a guild for wargames. That's the first thing I would do as BM. Before anyone goes quoting me and giving me ridicule, look at the thriving bracket's 19s and 29s they have no bracket enforcement of rules in pugs.

Lol GL with that.

So you're saying a few douchebags should be allowed to play broken classes or broken game glitch exploits that make the game unfun for the other 19 players? Sounds great, if you're a doucebag that needs to crutch on broken classes/exploits and doesn't give a flying fuck about the actual persons that you are playing with/against.

I'd rather have zero games than be expected to play with/against douchenozzles such as that.

I believe a closing date of the WoD season 2 era of 39s should be set by Boostz. And the reigns of the bracket should be handed over to someone to put it down completely or keep it on Wargame only mode.

The bracket is losing activity faster than it is gaining activity. I don't think its sustainable for pugs anymore. To mislead people who are sacrificing IRL friends/activities to log on our scheduled Q nights for games to just have 3 games and then sit in Q for 2 hours, is not cool. There needs to be transparency. Saturday was god awful. The games were not even that bad, but the night was awful. 3 games and done.

We need to end on a good note. or have we passed that point?... The fact that I have to ask means the bracket isn't thriving. Don't suck the life out of your player base. Accept we had the most successful 39s revival since wrath and wait for the next Era of 39s.

Extremely bold opinion. Regardless if that brought more activity, it goes against everything most of us 39s want in a twink bracket.

Maybe this bracket is doomed, who knows. I'll be fighting til the end to keep it alive. ISO being a whiney bitch like alot of 39s on here. Probably why it's dying.

I would hope that people are not sacrificing IRL friends/activities over playing 39's.
Got get outside!!!

29's thrive because 20's are ftp in the bracket..

has zero to do with the class makeup/restrictions we have in place...

There are only few "pure" level 20's. Most have moved on and either subbed or let the sub expire and became Vets.
Not every level 20 is a Trial. I have been playing level 20 since 5.2 on my subbed accounts. Many people do this.

/cheers
