Give it to me str8. I wanna make a Support BM hunter.

Sup guys so I was looking into different types of specs and playstyles for this bracket. And one thing i noticed is that 39 hunters have a ridiculous amount of CC. Which got me thinking, i kind of want to make a CC/Support BM hunter.

Hunter's CC:

Narrow Escape - 8 second AoE Root. Giving up mobility for extra Peels. idgaf if I die if it means our FC lives
Binding Shot - AoE Stun.
Glyph of Explosive Trap - Hunters can have Ele shaman's TS
Concussive Shot - Single Target slow for peels
Freezing Trap - 8 second Single target CC
Counter Shot - Ranged Interrupt

BM Hunter Buffs + Other Cool Thing:

Trueshot Aura - Only class that can give AP Buff
Still Water - BM hunters are the only spec that can give both Spellpower buff and Crit buff at 39
Flare - Hardcore counter against rogues. good for holding choke points
Feign Death - 30 second CD on Shadowmeld
Tranquilizing Shot - 10 second CD on magic/enrage purge.
Aquamarine Pendant of the Warrior - no one wants to run this, but a support hunter doesn't mind<3

I would most likely stack enough stamina to have 10k hp with fort buff. but yeah, i dun mind some h8 so give me your honest opinion? BM Hunter for Support/CC role? Could easily still pump out decent dmg but not to be compared to a MM Hunter especially if I'm runnin around with 10k hp. I originally thought of making just a frost mage but BM hunters can put out equivalent amount of CC but it's all instant cast plus a BM Hunter gives out 3 raid buffs instead of 0 compared to a frost mage.

Thoughts?

i dont know if giving up all that agility to hit 10k hp would be worth it though

Sounds neat if you're the kind to babysit healers/fcs's.

Playing a Hunter myself, I'm sure they'd work really well in this role if that's how you want to play it. They have a ton of CC to help peel off a *good* fc, and some good support as well (you forgot pet sac in your post).

Although I'm not sure if I'd agree with stacking stamina most of the time. I run around with like 8.3k on my Hunter (with bear pet buff) and I feel like it's pretty hard to die if I play smart. It's probably situational, but you want to make sure that most of the time you have enough agility to kill people relatively quickly too. Killing people is the best type of peel.

BM Hunters get exotic pets, do they have access to any spectral pets with the heal?

Played a ton of arenas against a marks hunter and let me tell ya, the CC was absurd. And the guy was over 10K health and pumping out plenty of damage. I dont think you'd need to be BM to recognize your goals of a control class. Unless you just wanna play BM.

Quoted for emphasis. I was at the receiving end of the CC and it was no joke.

Hunters can do very dirty and very evil things.

bracket needs less mid huntards and more of them that know their role is to hold the choke on defense when the opposing team has multiple stealth dps, pretty sure im the only alliance hunter that has realized this
