Trial Oceanic Servers Suggestion (HORDE)

Hello everyone, its been a long time since I have played WoW properly.

I've logged on every once in a while but just to check in.


I finally read somewhere that Oceanic has its servers located in Aus now.
So i decided to test it out and yup, they do. My ms is now around 170-180, down from 400-600 it is on US Servers.


I just wanted to ask whats the best Horde Oceanic server for Trials?
Or the AP of Oceanic if any?


I ask for Horde just on the assumption the ques will be faster for Horde, if Alli is faster ill go Alli.

There is none. Join the server that your favored faction dominates.

I think that's how you spell it. It's not very active but nor are any of the other ones.
 
I don't think there is a big F2P / Vet twink community on Oceanic. I myself am on Gundrak, and I have a friend who is P2P who has several 29's that joins me, but outside of that, not aware of much else going on.

Also, as we play late at night, WST there's usually nasty waits for bg's. Arena pops not too bad, but bg's queues suck most nights for Oceanic :(

Probably better during the day.

Although, in saying all there, there is a damn interest in that STV trinket on Oceanic servers, with at least 5 or 6 x 100's there any time of the day or night. I really hope I can have a crack at it before 7.0 hits :(
 
Frostmourne / Barthilas are probably your best bets if you are dead set on horde

Frostmourne alliance has supanova which is a semi large guild that premade every week or so
 
Awww, thats sad to hear.

Was hoping some people would of transferred after Oceanic got real servers.

I love the people at AP, but I can never be really competitive with 400-600ms.

Was hoping there was Oceanic community with the new servers.

170-180ms is just unheard of for me, too good to pass up. I might be able to pick up the flag now hehe.

playing at 500 ping is just silly. there's no reason to continue playing the game if it's causing you that much of a disadvantage.

Yea, playing on 400-600 range was bad at times, but its why i wanted to check out the Oceanic F2P scene.

I still did a lot when playing with the high ping, also the reason I chose to play as a healer, since its more forgiving with lag.
 
there isn't much community in oceanic, everyone kinda act like lone wolf

but sometime we(from different PVP server) just gather infront of org gate due to cross realm zone.

me and another guy in Thaurissan(PVP) using F2P addon. but we are inactive now days.

other choice were pretty much state by above poster

lol - haha, that's why I played Hunter for many years as ranged is more forgiving than melee with lag. I used some program, may have been called Battleping or something in the day and was able to get down to like 250 Ping here in West Aussie land.

But now it's quite amazing with Australian servers, I'm getting like 70 - 100 Ping in WA, so I'm not sure why yours is still up high.

I also agree with Rotten Brain in that Oceanic people are a little more like 'lone wolfs'.

I can only speak for Alliance as I don't have a Horde toon, but if you ever went Alliance, you'd float around the front of SW or Goldshire you will likely bump into some 20's thanks to cross-realms.
