How to get the new BoA rings?

What are the prerequisites for unlocking the shipyard missions for boa rings

I've searched wowhead, official forums and redditt; I can't find a definite answer on how to get the new BoA rings.

Do you need a lvl 3 ship yard? 10 epic ships? Do we have to wait a certain amount of time? I can't find the prerequisites to unlock the missions.

Would appreciate if you have any assumptions, please post with links/source of your info.

I have a P2P friend and it does appear to be a fairly long grind to get these missions.

He hasn't got them yet but I wouldn't be surprised if you need quite a good mix of ships with the right abilities.

I've chosen not to go after the BoA rings. Too much of a time sink vs the extra stats you get.

I got like 30 followers on my 100 and levelling them all up and getting good stats took a long time, and I'm guessing this will be no different.

But at the moment I don't have any more specifics but stay tuned as I hear more from my friend.
 
I'm pushing through, as much as I hate too. The shipyard seems like it's just a slower garrison, that is going to require more garrison resources for upkeep as you switch out gear. Basically, I think blizzard underestimated how easily everyone would optimize their garrison's, and put in a garrison element that will never be fully optimal for ever situation, forcing people to do things like logging and such. It's a dick move, and I really am beginning to resent them. Would have been better to just scrap the garrisons altogether, but instead they've doubled down in the hopes that everyone would rather click through panels, than play the game.

Even with a screenshot, GM's have been known to be wrong and majority of the time they draw their data from wowhead now.

A bluepost would be a different story.
