Heroes of the Storm

I love it. It takes the gear buying and annoying talent trees out of typical mobas. Adds more objectives. The classes are interesting and fun to play once you find the one you're really excited about.

Personally, I'd love to see more game modes. After a few days of playing the same maps it got a little repetitive and meh. But if they added like brawls or something... like straight up Team Deathmatch or even Deathmatch modes and Capture The Flag it would be incredible.

Could you imagine like a 10 man free for all or something? Could be a very interesting concept and the replay value of a FFA deathmatch is much higher than the same objective maps on repeat.

Overall I like the game but I can only play it a few hours a week or get becomes too repetitive for me.

I like it, very simple to play, characters who had a backstory that was created longer before the game was created and you actually know about. Instead of playing characters who you probably don't know a thing about.

Also, (I know that some abilities are similar) these characters are original and influenced by others.. and that it has multiple maps with different but similar objectives. Instead of a single map..

And the fact that you dont have to buy artifacts and other things to enhance your gameplay

In terms of difficultly:

Dota2-Hard
LoL-Intermediate
HoTS-Easy

I play it from time to time, and I find it funny and way more relaxing than LoL or DotA which I still play at a fairly high level. (More DotA than LoL now, though)

However, it's relaxing because it's a lot more easy than the two other games and because in general, it's much more fun to fight right from the start, instead of having to farm for 20+ minutes before you even have a remote chance at winning a game. Been playing Valla a lot and I generally like the damage-heavy heroes more than the supports/tanks. What would be some good heroes to get? I've been thinking about Zeratul

I play it, never could get in to LoL and Dota, but seem to enjoy this. Think it's gonna be bigger than people are expecting but no where as big as those two.

As someone who preferred Dominion instead of Summoner's Rift in LoL (more fights/skirmishes, less/no automatable last-hitting/farming for 5+ minutes at the start, among other reasons), I like Heroes of the Storm, especially the idea of no item shops (with that somewhat covered by talents while leveling) and shared experienced (instead of a single player snowballing a win, teams snowball). To me the primary plus to item building is the idea of counter-building (especially to mitigate or address a advantage your opponents have gained, and lessen their ability to snowball), though one could do similar with talents (well, sometimes).

LoL and other MOBAs are good and fine (in my humble opinion), though (among other problems), I do not like the meta requiring someone to starve themselves of gold/etc. to redistribute those to their carry/ies (which to me was why most LoL/etc. players in solo queue for summoner's rift ASAP call for top or mid lane, the more profitable lanes). Even if premading with friends, I did not like putting them in that position, nor did I find that a "fun" position to play. Insisting someone play a initiator, healer, or specialist (instead of assassin or other DPS when there's more than enough) is one thing, but insisting you or they starve yourself or themselves for your team (or for yourself, especially) is another.

Overall I like the game but I can only play it a few hours a week or get becomes too repetitive for me.
Well, repetitivity is a problem for most (or almost all) games, isn't it? Nonetheless, I agree there could be more distinct objectives outside pushing lanes/killing cores, or securing secondary objectives to win the primary objective.

I hope the community in this game keeps it cool. So far, it's a lot of fun, but I've already seen people raging at people to go do coop if it's their first time on a hero. Umm... We are in quick match, not ranked, dude. Coop sucks. You only learn playing against people. It's like me ganking bots in Ashenvale. Yes, it can be entertaining, but it ain't PvP, and it doesn't teach you shit about playing your class.

Since others are listing their favorites, I'll list mine (among others I like):
-Tychus
-Sgt. Hammer (I admit I like siege tanks in starcraft when I used to play it, even if they're not as strong in sc2 as they were in sc1).
-Rehgar
-Zeratul (if I ever get enough to get him)
And ETC

Haven't played in months. Got the invite for beta with it first hit, but I'm still too much into LoL to give it much time.

To be honest, I like Smite more than this one.
