Prot war weapon enchant

I would like to know your opinion on the right enchant i should use to run the flag on a prot war.
I know war is not the best fc but i still want to try.
- Mark of blackrock
- Windwalk
- River's song
- Lifeward/mending
- Colossus
- etc..
Also if someone know where i can find a list of chants and how often they proc, i would really appreciate.

The issue is that Prot Warriors do not make for viable FCs these days.

Resto druids:

1) Have more HP
2) Can spam AOE (hard to get ambushed)
3) Can cross mid stealthed to get the flag
4) Have the best movement
5) Can self heal / off heal
6) Have more armor / damage reduction

It would be better for an under geared resto druid to carry than a bis gfd warrior to carry honestly.

As you're still looking to try, keep in mind that you should only do so if your team does not already have a FC. You'll be screwing your team hard if you're picking the flag before the real FC does and refusing to pass.

Also, as burst is so high, you're very unlikely to be able to attack anything before you die. So the enchant procs really don't matter much at all because if anything is in attack range of you, you're going to be taking damage and that damage is probably enough to drop you. With that being said, no enchants really offer a substantial mitigation to this damage and you're probably not going to notice any enchant helping you survive any longer than another one.

Colossus was used in the past because it was an absorb for like 300-500 or something like that. Now it only absorbs like 90 hp which is like 1/4th of an auto attack or 1 noncrit dot. Windwalk is not worth the small dodge increase and the movement speed increase is still so small that you'll barely notice that you're moving any faster. Mending does like 100 if I remember correctly which isn't much when you're taking 2k burst per second for 5 seconds like you will be as a FC. River's song is pretty much useless as it's rare that you're going to face any avoidable attacks anyways... Rogues and ferals are going to open on you from behind and crit you for 1500 and there's no dodging either of those. Your dodge is still so low that you're rarely going to dodge anything from the front even with the proc of River's Song. You can't dodge boomie spells which are going to crit your face off. So really all you can dodge in 19s are some hunter shots, monk attacks, warrior attacks and rogue attacks but since dodge is so nerfed there's really no point in stacking dodge. Especially how the spells that are going to kill you are all unavoidable. It's a bracket where FCs get 1 shot in a feral stun and prot warriors simply are not viable FCs. I'd say your best bet for weapon enchant is either mending or colossus even though they're both pretty insignificant.

You can easily google any weapon enchant and it will tell you it's ppm or rppm rate.

Best of luck,
Mocha

blood draining: strong heal doesnt need to be on for the heal to go off... procs almost instantly every time is effected by pvp power(so im assuming vers as well) you can swap to colossus or something for 10 seconds inbetween stacks since it has 10 second ICD

Mocha, he clearly stated that he knows that prot warrior isn't the best fc. He knows this. Why are you so against anything different than whats the current best?

"You'll be screwing your team hard if you're picking the flag before the real FC does and refusing to pass."
"It would be better for an under geared resto druid to carry than a bis gfd warrior to carry honestly."

Seriously what the hell.

It's the same info I was given when I played prot paladin. As cold as it sounds, he's pretty much right. He'll have to play a utility style of prot warrior if a druid FC is available since chances are it might not have any damage. Otherwise, he can try to FC.

Black rock might be good if it has a good amount of armor or colossus

It only procs if you're somewhere below 50-60% hp, and will be useless against balance druids and other casters.

1ST of all ty for your answer its appreciate.

I am kinda pissed to learn that druids have more damage reduction/armor than wars, i didnt know and to me that make no sence.

Most time i join BG as horde, we dont have FC in the team, so i have to FC as mage...Its the reason why i gonna update my GFed prot war to test.
I dont plan to roll a druid like 70 % of the people just cuz its op, more diversity would be nice to my opinion.

I totaly agree with mocha, if their is a druid fc at the start i gonna just /afk. They are better no doubt.I also agree on the fact that
enchanting that give dodge may not be best since its nerfed badly.

Also, as fc war you can still attack alot. Not directly on players but you have to taunt all the pets from healers.
I used to get proc from pets alot more than on players.

War are damn slow, thats the biggest problems to me. Thats why i really want to test windwalk in bgs (or abuse speed pot :p )

I have the feeling thats good healers have the control of games now alot more than fc and dps. With all the good horde healers
i hope i will be able to play the prot war and have decents results.

Finally, i am still not sure of the enchant i gonna use lol, but ty for the help

First, don't play prot youll take 25%more dmg than the non tank specs. Play arms and have your prot set in your bags so you can use it when you need. Use crusader on 1h

This.

Arms warr takes less damage than a prot and is on par, or even more tanky than a druid FC.
This

Amrs Wrar tkeas lses dgamae tahn a port adn is on par, or eevn mroe tknay tahn a dirud FC

These are.

Arms warr takes less than before the injury, which is the same level, or even higher than that of the Druids FC tank.

Those were.

Arms warr recieves less hit point reducting attack value, than the specialization intended to do this, and even better than another class with a similar and intended specialization for this purpose.

just go with arms like everyone else likely already said, its the whole 25% increase for all tank specs, makes them irrelevant as fc better just having a high stam set arms and FC on that stacked with a good amount of speed pots bandages and hp potions, prolly best way to make a FC warr strong in this current meta

id still have a 1h n shield and stuff tho cuz if u bind and macro it with Dstance, you will be able to mitigate rogues/ferals/warriors insane burst alot easier with the added armor, people underrate how much armor does for people against the "global burst" melee pwning everything-type scenarios

id maybe just put crusader over colossus though, seeing as you can proc many saders at once, heal is still real nice defensively when it happens and has that aggressive edge, doubt anyone is gonna try to rape a warr FC with 3.5k hp and 2 or 3 saders up, he'll just thunderclap and all the peons will drop to the ground :D
