US State of the Bracket and re: 19 TC

The problem with Sweetsidney's idea is that non-participants will tend to be mutts, out of touch with the bracket, or both.
Not eveyone cares to be embroiled in all this nonsence. I for one, do not. Given all the DDoS attacks, I will not even get on to Skype at all with anyone from TI. That is why I have offered alternatives.
Are you stating that if you do not participate you are a "mutt" or are "out of touch" with the bracket. Do you realize who/what you sound like? You sound like a supremist stating that if you are not part of our group, you are beneath us.

I don't think Arms Warrior pose that much of a problem in comparison to Feral Druids.
They have burst, sure, but their CC/utility (Charge root/stun, Thunderclap snare) in comparison to Druid's CC/utility (20 yd blink + movespeed, enemy/friendly charge, 4 sec target stun from opener, castable roots) is nothing.

The problem is 2 arms warriors 2x rend on everything. So only one

You see what I am stating? Only two of this, one of that, but only if this is played, no more than three of this kind. You can't use gear I am unable to get. Yes I can, no you can't... The date can't be on a weekend that I can't play. Plus whatever bullshit you people can come up with.
When and where does it ever end?
There just needs to be a few simple rules. If you do not like them, then do not play in the tourney! Life will go on. I promise you.

I realize this is subjective but this is what Blizzard mandates about tournament rules, and the Twink Cup is obligated to try to create a set of rules that meets this mandate.

The rules for the tournament should promote a fun and engaging experience for the players, with skill in playing the game being the factor that determines who will win or lose a match in the tournament

From Organizing StarCraft II Community Tournaments

I'm obligated to value the insight of players more than non-participants.

There already are a few simple rules - it's been worked out. just because random people want to discuss additional rules doesn't mean that the entire process is broken. It's actually working just fine - basically the entire community agrees on the existing rules. It's adding new ones where there's disagreement. Personally I am against adding more at this point unless a game change of significance occurs.

Let it go the rules are beautiful.

It provides the most competitive, fun environment you can ask for. Barring any changes in upcoming patches to classes there shouldn't be any more changes.

Also Myrm I know it's been stated before in one of these threads but you should add the resto Druid stealth exclusion to the official thread rules I think you just forgot!

I sound that way because I'm making generalizations, but twink generalizations hold true for the most part.

I'm still reading past like page 4 of this thread but for what it is worth - right back at you Pizza - I'm having fun in this bracket trying to shake off my rust (Got to get used to how quickly rogues and ferals can drop me, especially if MORAN keeps waiting for me to blink :( )

The community does seem more mature, I do think the comps can get a bit ridiculous, but for the most part if Horde had another healer or two, games are awesome.

As Pizza said, I think most of us older 19s are now in grad school, or post grad school range (Panda's law, Pizza's MBA etc.). I don't have a ton of time anymore, so if pops are happening, I'm not really going to complain.

Thanks for the fun games thus far everyone.

I leveled all my 19s to 24... #ZEROREGRETS

I will say though, with Painaid, Slyfox, Gankya, and some other names from my past coming back...I am thinking about rolling some new ones. I don't see anything grandfathered that would be game breaking for any class really... with the enchants changing up and all....Looks like Magefist with 24 Stam > Jutes, etc...

I love seeing all these old names popping up. I'll keep trying to get some others to join us :p

Oh, you're Icyjr. Please stop sheeping me; all I want to do is heal my team a little.

But everyone looks cuter as a sheep :(

Which healer is yours?

Srsx. I was in a game against you, Homerpimpson and a few rogues. I was the only healer on ally. I could hardly cast. I was like "WTF CS? Do I fake cast and die due to lost time healing, or do I get interrupted and hope to heal up later. Maybe I can guise and range this rogue a little, so I can heal". Mostly I just died.

I was Soups on BWL. Still learning the meta of new bracket. How's it going?

Going good! My rogue as Boofie and my mage was Cerr on that realm when I did F2P.

Yeah, unfortunately, being the sole healer in any game is definitely going to get you a one way ticket to the inside-scoop on sheep-life. I'd avoid the Scottish men (@Skeezin)
