I'm currently twinkling alliance on that server! and 150 engin goggles. Tablar mangle. Lizard cloak. Or sentry cloak. Defias chest. Forest leather bracers. 4/4 scouting gloves of the money. Deviate scale belt or 4/4 belt of the monkey. Leggings of the fang. Feet or the lynx but I'm using feet of fang until then. Meadow ring of eluding amd monkey. Pvp trink when you csn get it and agm!

Edit: weapons!!! Shadow fang assassins blade cruel barbs stinging viper. Up to you!

There is nothing but white shoulders unless you get talbar mantle and fang legs were bis and im debating on rolling horde or ally i have a mage on horde that ive been getting some decent gear from but horde seems more populated so world pvp would be more fun. Atm i have forest leather bracers Fotl sfang and mats to get 150 eng

green tinted was def bis cause no lfh then. fang legs definitely too, just unsure what defias belt gave before 18 ap. serp shoulders were a little later too I think, just a guess :p.

It would have made more sense to do Assassin's Blade + 5 Damage MH and Cruel Barb + 15 Agility offhand. But this is where it's at for AP for the most part except I don't think Blackened Defias Belt gave good AP back then.

For AP set I'd do:

Attack Power Set
Green tinted goggles
wsg neck
Feral Shoulder Pads or any other white shoulders
Sentry cloak / WSG Cloak
tunic of westfall
Wrangler's Wristbands of Attack Power
Red Whelp Gloves / Scouting Gloves of the Monkey
Deviate Scale Belt
leggings of the fang / Scouting of Attack Power
feet of the lynx / Scouting of Attack Power
wsg ring / Meadow Ring of the Tiger
Meadow Ring of the Tiger / Lavishly Jewled Ring
pvp trinket
agm
Assassin's Blade MH
Cruel Barb OH

However, you only wanted to use this set perhaps 1-2 times per WSG game just to drop a FC but it was not recommended to do a full AP set.

Bis
Green tinted goggles
wsg neck
Feral Shoulder Pads or any other white shoulders
Sentry cloak / WSG Cloak
Blackened Defias Armor
Wrangler's Wristbands of the Monkey
Red Whelp Gloves / Scouting Gloves of the Monkey
Deviate Scale Belt
leggings of the fang / Scouting of The Monkey
feet of the lynx / Scouting of The Monkey
wsg ring / Meadow Ring of Eluding
sylvannas / Meadow Ring of Eluding / Lavishly Jewled Ring
pvp trinket
agm
Shadowfang + Lifestealing
Cruel Barb + 15 Agility

If you need to drop an EFC switch to dual Cruel Barbs + Fiery.

Back then Blackened Defias Belt was green and gave like 5 stam and Belt of the Fang was green and gave 3 stam 2 agility. I think glowing lizard scale had class restrictions and rogues couldn't use it.

Edit: Serpent Shoulders were still good white shoulders, but Feral Shoulder Pads were better. Serpent Shoulders didn't have stats until 2.3, the patch that made all of the low level dungeon drops blue that were previously green, introduced Rugged Spadulders which were the same stats as Serpent's but with slightly lower armor, lowered the mobs levels in SFK etc which is when Shadowfang became very rare. This patch also made Thief's Blade blue and actually viable. I believe this is when Blackened Defias Belt became a good AP option. Arugal went from level 26 to 24 RIP and shortly after to level 21. Also this is the same patch that pretty much cut dodge rating by 75% so it was now theoretically impossible to stack dodge over 100 without evasion up. I remember this patch because this is when I was most passionate about twinking and played twinks 24/7. I was playing a self funded gnome rogue on Illiidan and self funding a twink back in the day was a HUGE feat. I did have to buy gold a few times since I had no mains or alts but my rogue came out good. I got lucky with Serpent's Shoulders binding and becoming BIS as Feral Pads were too pricy and rare. Talbar Mantle sucked for anything that didn't need INT because the amount of armor you lost for going with Talbar was astronomical which is why nobody bothered to get them besides int classes. (Still happy I have them on Mocha though)

ahh I remember those pesky meadow rings of eluding. fuckers were expensive as hell.

The wsg items are not yet out and some if the enchants such as 15 agi to weapon isn't out

I could be wrong as i'm terrible with patch notes numbers and everything before wotlk is slowly becomming more and more blurry.. but wasn't foresman gloves bis ap gloves back then giving +10 ap being a green item, or did they first add them in tbc?

I think they were just 5 strength at the time. Nobody ever used them honestly.

For a while you could get Bloodsail Admirals Hat on a 10+ but it was hotfixed quite sharply, I only held it for about 1 week on my rogue prior to the quest being changed to 55+req. As such goggles were best until fishing extravaganza started.

Backstab build did more damage than SS build, but you can play what you like, my BIS list from memory is the following (this is not a stam set just each slot filled with what I considered best and used back then):

Head: Goggles (+8agi)
Neck: Sentinels>none (not sure if available yet)
Shoulder: Talbar Mantle
Cloak: Sentry (agility/stealth)
Chest: Tunic of westfall (stats)
Bracer: Forest Leather (+9 sta)
Gloves: Scouting of the monkey/Red Whelp Gloves (+15 agi) - I used red whelp with SF and monkey with AB weapons.
Belt: Deviate Scale
Legs: Scouting of attack power, 16 AP OR Fang (+8agi)
Boots: Lynx (minor speed)
Ring1: Meadow ring of eluding > monkey
Ring2: Meadow ring of eluding > monkey
Trinket1: AGM (you can take trinket here but honestly there isn't enough cc to warrant it and the cd was 5 mins).
Trinket2: AGM

Weapon MH: Assasins blade (Striking, +5 dmg)
Weapon OH: Assasins blade (major agility, +15 agility)

OR

Weapon MH: Shadowfang (Lifestealing)
Weapon OH: Assasins blade (major agility, +15 agility)

Hope this helped - I just started playing (level 12 priest lol) on horde side Nostalrius, name is Invu. I will be finishing my priest to 60, farming all boes/gold for twinks I want to make then re-making a 39 twink enhance shaman and disc priest and then I plan on re-making my 19 shaman (Vo) in due course as well as a warlock (Feiz) and paladin (Phatwink) (these were my favourite to play back in the day!).

Needless to say I'm quite excited but this is about 6 months work on vanilla...

Peace.

Can someone update about this server, i got a level 60 Priest on there but i dont play anymore... is it worth twinking on, and how many twinks are you ?
