Which Is Faster

depends on what you mean by FCing whether it be starting at your flag crossing mid for pick and then going back for cap or just capping once you pick up flag... if you're crossing mid twice id say druid however if you mean from the point you pick flag nothing beats windwalker

Need option for "Horde speed potting Druid"

I see nothing wrong with Horde FC Druids speed potting.

Everybody has speed pots and if they don't, that's their choice and could get some.

However, not everybody has worgen sprint but 99.9% of Alliance FC druids do.

So the choices are: Either buy a speed pot for 2g. Or, pay 25 dollars to be worgen.

I'd say worgen druids are far more unfair than someone popping a speed pot.

Being able to do proper jumps makes you 10x faster then talking the pleb tier routes.
Druid can do jumps that ww cannot do.
Druid FC's are usually worgen and have the sprint as well.

Reread Mocha's comment and saw flaw to my comment.

My apologies.

You're completely missing the point by like 3000 miles....

Even Worgen Druid still speed pot.

Anyone can speed pot.

You can speed pot.

Worgen druids already have an insane sprint nobody else has.

Anyone can buy a speed pot where as not everyone can instantly gain a sprint.

It's not unfair if anyone can spend 3g to get a speed pot.

I'd say it's more unfair that worgen druids on top of everything ALSO get an ADDITIONAL speed bonus that NOBODY ELSE HAS.

never said anything about fairness. using speed pots is a crutch to cover up poor positioning and gameplay, somthing you will not have in premades

also havent seen any alliance player speed pot on cooldown like horde does and i doubt most of the alliance FC druids care to speed pot because they dont want to become reliant on them as a crutch

Yeah but my entire thread is about fairness in speeds between FCs.

You say "most of the alliance FC druids" don't speed pot because "they don't want to become reliant on them as a crutch" THEY'RE ALREADY CRUTCHING ON WORGEN SPRINT! Which is something Horde FCs don't have, and can't acquire. The best part is, they don't pop speed pots (according to you) not because they don't want to become reliant on speed pots, but because they just don't bloody have to.

Speed pots have nothing to do with poor positioning... let me rephrase, they can help to reduce the significance of poor positioning, but even a player with perfect positioning can still find point where they can take advantage of a speed pot. Most of the ones I see are to take advantage of poor positioning on the opposing faction... Not to cover up for their own poor positioning. If you're getting steamrolled all day by the same 5 kids in Skype on fotm classes, why wouldn't you chug some pots looking for some quick caps?

You can either use speed pots which completely negate the effect of someone else using a speed pot, or you can just not use them and not complain about people using them. You don't need 4 other friends on geared twinks communicating in Skype to be able to use the advantage of a speed pot. It's a very fair advantage to obtain and use speed pots on your own. Rolling these Skype groups is a much less fair advantage and is not nearly as easy to acquire than pots are on the AH. So if anyone is looking to make the argument that queueing in Skype groups is as much of an easy advantage as using speed pots is, you can forget it.

Not to mention, horde FCs pretty much have to use them if they want to keep up with the pace of worgen FCs. Also, I hear people have been upset about rogues using speed pots to catch up with efcs. What else are they supposed to do? Get outrun by anything in the bracket? They have the 2nd worst movement in the bracket to priests.

People can either use pots which are more than easily obtainable, or not complain when others do.

Until there's a ban on speed pots in pugs, everyone is allowed to use them as much as they want. The funny thing is, there should be consideration of banning many other things that are much more gamebreakinig than a speed pot, yet people don't complain about other things in the same manor. Sounds like an argument catering to the lazy to me.

In short, the entire speed pot debate is a counterargument made only by those who are too lazy to obtain them, or they choose not to use them and purposely gimp themselves. When something is more than easily available, you can either use it, or don't. Your choice.

Another thing, it has nothing to do with skill. People have this stigma that if someone uses a speed pot, they're bad. What? Man if using consumables that are available on the AH for less than 10g per is bad, I don't want to be good. When it's been 5 games in a row that horde have been 2-3 capped on, I'm going to do whatever I can to try to get a win for horde before people start logging for the night.

I'm not saying I chug them 24/7 but i do log on my FC toons when I'm sick of watching worgen druids teleport across the map at a much faster pace than any horde FCs can. Do I use speed pots every few games on these FCs? You bet. Helps to make up the difference between a huge perk to fcing on one faction over the other.

If worgen get a sprint, tauren should get a sprint. It's unfair for one faction's FC to be much more mobile than another faction's FC.

There are two stages to FCing:

1) The Cross - Getting and bringing the enemy flag across mid as quickly as possible whilst dodging the enemy defensive team.

2) The Control - Holding the enemy flag until your offensive team returns the flag.

Worgen have a hugely gamebreakinig advantage over the first phase of FCing. Also consider, games can be and are often won in 3 caps and the second phase doesn't even really have to happen. In fact, worgen still have a huge advantage as FCs until very deep in this phase which is rarely reached. You could even add an additional phase to FCing which would be the point where stacks limit a FC's movement speed because in a game where kiting FCs is the only way to survive, Horde are STILL at a disadvantage even up to this point.

We're twinks. We use the tools at hand. Swiftness Potion is a tool. I really don't see the problem.
