Glitching into Goblin/Worgen starting zone.

Is this possible? I'm planning on creating a Hunter, and Ideally I'd like the gun xmog from the Worgen starting zone, but thralls gift as well...

Thanks,

you can get into the goblin starting zone via RaF not sure if you can get thralls gift after. I dont really know about the worgen zone, if you are interested in trying have someone RaF a f2p account and level to 6 on a goblin to summon you and level through the rest of the zone

Thanks,

you can get in the goblins zone but when u are at thralls gift quest, u wont be able to see anything there anymore ( talking as of late mop) not sure about wod now if its still possible i'd say 75% they fixed getting thralls . but hey, you never know untill you try.

For achievement farming it would still contribute to completed quests though right. If you start from the beggining of the goblin zone does it work? Or as you get to that level it bugs?

best idea is to try to get thralls on another toon and if it works roll worgen and faction to horde and do it again

Alright, thanks for the replies guys. I'm probably going to start as Goblin, get thralls, get the other BiS horde gear then faction change and get into worgen zone for Cry of the Wolf.

Sound plausible?

Thought this thread was a how-to guide. Was disappointed. I really want the staff for mogging. That is all.

Ok, so this is my experience so far:

I started as a Goblin, and my mate helped me out by letting me recruit-a-friend him. I hit lvl 10 on my Goblin, then he summoned me to Orgrimmar to lock XP. This is where I had issues - the act of leaving the zone changed my hearthstone to Orgrimmar - big WTF moment.

I contacted a GM and he nicely ported me back to Lost Isles... However, this created a few errors - because I'd left, I'd automatically completed one of the last quests, resulting in the last chain being buggy - I contacted another GM and after 45 minutes of trying to phase me around, he successfully fixed it. I'm now lvl 10 with Thrall's gift, ready to Xfer to Alliance as a Worgen to attempt to get Cry of the Wolf from a quest in Gilneas!

Will update when I make progress! :)

any idea what thrills gift scales like?

Ok, BIG EDIT!

***When you get RAF summoned out of Goblin / Worgen starting area DO NOT RELOG!, if you do, your HS will be set to your new city. This means that you need the gold to turn XP off BEFORE you get summoned - otherwise you need a GM to port you back - V. inconvenient.*** Redundant. :(

DOUBLE EDIT! IGNORE ABOVE!

Ok, I lied... you ALWAYS HS to your main city when you get RaF summoned out - it's a bug. Previously, because the HS tooltip hadn't altered, we believed that it still ported you back to the Lost Isles. It doesn't, it just doesn't tell you it doesn't... FML - You need to contact a GM it seems!

GL!

Now onto my Hunter,

After getting RaF summoned into Gilneas as a lvl. 10 Worgen, the whole starting zone is weirdly phased - I've sent a ticket to see if they can sort that out, or if they'll be against it - who knows. I might be able to argue that as I'm Worgen, and as I've paid for a race change, I deserve all things allocated - we'll see! :)

If I would have read this post a bit sooner (been studying all week), I could have warned you a bit of the few bumps you were going to hit.

You definitely did the right choices, but some-what complicated your way for nothing. Choosing Goblin as starter is far better since you want the gear piece for stats, not as xmog. However, it is possible to do it completely without any GM assistance/exploiting or what not. You can simply finish the whole zone alone and leave at level 10 and 80% from 11 (by only killing what is required and killing the lowest level mobs).

By exploiting yourself outside of the zone prematurely you unphased yourself to all the phases you went through. I am ready to bet that you started encountering issues around The Slave Pits quest. gaith and myself have experienced this issue first hand and (with lots of luck) successfully obtained GM help to get through all of this mess (you can view the discussed issue and ways to solve it here and look at my 10 warrior in my sig for proof of completion).

Now, the Worgen zone is much easier since there is no way out. The final quest requires level 13 so once you grab whatever you need you can TP out via RaF summon. The only catch to this exploit is that you CANNOT do it if you are a Worgen!

Other than that, enjoy your new twink! And remember, never level up.

Never mind! It's been fun - I'm still confused though. Do you know if it's possible to Xfer to alliance at 10, become a Worgen, and then do the quests in Gilneas? Without leveling past 10... Thanks! :)
