Math Breakdown: Rogue Weapons

Yo bend,
what is your bis rogue set? I may need to update gear.
Patch
pvp neck
jp shoulders
wc cloak
gloomshroud
serakis
foremans
monkey satchel belt
smelting pants
linx
rop one of multiple 7 agi rings . A few of agi ones like prairie ring of agi or meadow band of agi . I think there may even been a quest one Jibbed was wearing.
Pvp trink
agm
sf
heartseaker

Thanks, but that is so glass cannon.
Do you die a lot with that set?

Rogues aren't meant to have very much non-stealth time in battlegrounds. You can, and it certainly will make your damage look nice, but you shouldn't be un-stealthed very often at all.

Your job is to slow down the EFC, split up his guard, and ambush->recap with high stacks.

You shouldn't be defending your own FC (or at least, you shouldn't have to).

You shouldn't be fighting for field dominance in mid.

Neither of those are your jobs because, frankly, there are classes that are much better at them than you.

In arenas... yes, you shouldn't be using that set unless you're against certain team comps with a certain team comp.

But honestly you wouldn't be changing too much. You might slap on Loom weapons for the health. You'd probably go Wolfmaster's / Sentry Cloak for your back.

Your rings should probably be PvP / Argas, or PvP / RoP. But again, in Arenas gear is always Comp vs. Comp dependent.

the important thing to remember is wasting time farming boe's never made anyone a better rogue

Wo you found my old acc. thought it was lost in deep space.
The ring if people are wondering: Tia's Ring scales to 7.
Also,
would be interested in seeing numbers on Curved Dagger as its one of the few 1.6 speed weps available to us.
Probably only worth consideration as mutilate but both dag of agi and dag of power scale to 5.

Woah lots been said so let me just toss in a quick opinion while I'm not to busy with holiday stuff.
Jib thanks for the heads up on that ring . Saves me farming stocks.
elffies yeah it's pretty gc but no in bgs u rarely should die unless it's from getting a return on a fc . As a rogue your health shouldn't matter that much IMO . You sap ppl with efc to seperate them then speed pot for efc if there is mele around u usually open with ambush and evasion already poppe to avoid a conc from hunters or what ever you pop your thistle tea and drop everything . Maybey u smeld a frost bolt or sheep or something and re ambush and stuff Maybey u antivenome a rogue that opens on you and stuff but 90 percent of the time it's all over before your evasion is even down and IMO health just isn't that important during that time.
Arenas are completely different as Bop said . In a double rogue comp or like rogue feral you may want to go gc but in rogue healer you may want to have more Stam to avoid getting killed while ur healer buddy is cc'd but I am not the best arena player and still have so much to improve on there so I won't talk much about it
Zehj quite true
Jib again if I had to guess that dagger may be viable but I would have to check. And I'll post another clip of my sheet before today is over looking at 1.6 speed stuf. Iirc there were a few 1.6 speed wraps in game . Blackfathom mace with like 4 int 2 crit unscaled, dawn blade from horde ghost lands quest, and the green dagger you got posted right there. Blackfathom is interesting because the mace still has te 2.6 normalized weapon speed from being a mace so you could use it mh as combat without too much loss to damage but you would gain lots of poison damage I Doupt it would pan out but just a thought .
Tyramissoux thanks bae that helps

red is the number of my current assas set for the DPS of poisons in an envenom.
this set has heartseaker offhand.
yellow set i just changed the speed of heartseaker to 1.6 . and that was the new poison dps.

now by doing that u loose 5 crit 2 haste some damage off your mute and around 1.7 base melee dps so over all .
NOT Worth it . only thing i haven't factored in is the increase crippling poison chance but frankly i don't think its worth it

i got vultros dagger something level 7rare it scales 6 agility 2 crit 11 something dps @29

Hashbrowns can you do a meth brakedown please

Page one is still pretty accurate, minus the 40% increase to Hemo recently.

The green highlights are the best you can get, it's confusing for Sub because the best low end and high end damage is split between SF and Vultros... Basically it's almost the same. With the pros SF will win. So:

Sub: Shadowfang
Combat: Shadowfang
Assassination: Vultros

OH: Balanced Heartseeker or Scout's Blade.

For combat if i dont have shadowfang yet whats bis main hand? Venerbale mass or Talon ? And i have both Scout's and Balanced Heartseeker

Slow MH + Fast OH seems to be the consensus.

As much as I trust you as a gras-loving person, but I'd like to see a math breakdown for this. So many running around with two slow weapons.

EDITH says:

Did a bit of my own research, not really a breakdown. Set is the same as in the backstabbing bitch link in my sig. Used the weapons named in the pic as offhands because they were the ones closely related statwise.

Combat OH's have been easily the most Calculated topic in the F2P bracket recently - there's been at least 3 threads about them, this one included.

Here is Snowjob's Imgur Link that compares the slower Talon of Vultros to the faster Balanced Heartseeker, finding that BHS wins over ToV given Snowjob's set of constraints.
