Plannin a Pally!

I wonder what is better when it comes down to standing on the capture point Pallies or Druids? I am trying to establish a niche for pally FC's, do you think there could be one in this situation?

Only thing worth considering in your arsenal is LoH. Everything else is dispellable so I wouldn't really count on it being there in clutch situations. That said, pallies also have better melee defense/avoidance I think (?) than druids. Could be wrong though.

Is divine protection dispellable? Can't recall ever having mine dispelled.

I have to draw from our shared experience here and disagree. You've said it yourself that Freedom is very useful situationally (spam Wing Clips, Hamstrings). BoP is very useful on a Priest or the Paladin himself to get heals off without getting interrupted, you can get off two full heals from any healing class if timed correctly. With the new 15 LoH that's a full heal for the FC at least once and possibly twice during a 25 minute Warsong.

The fact that all Paladin spells are dispellable is most definitely important, but not a deal breaker. An AGM can be dispelled and no one ever claims that it's useless for an FC (even before the stam change). Even with spam dispels a well timed Freedom can be crucial for a jump or for simply dispelling a physical ability on an FC who is perhaps out of mana or trying to regen at that point. Protection can be dispelled, but it requires either the Priest or Shaman diverting his attention from what he was doing to remove the buff.

All that said, none of the above makes a case for a Paladin to be carrying the flag. Everything stated above can be done by a Holy Pally just as well, if not better than a Pally who is FCing. Simply put, if you have a Druid and a Paladin on your team, the only logical arrangement is the Druid FCing and the Pally in support.
