Which would benefit the most...

As the title states, in your opinion, what class benfits the most from having a shadowfang?
 
an active player, mainly



paladin/warr/rogue could all use them effectively, but if a rogue is going to use it for an OH i'd rather give it to the paladin/warr
 
Mhm.. I'm going to say Rogue in first because a pally and a warrior can both techniquely use 2hs for DMG dealing where as rogues need 1 handers. But Warrior coming in a close second.
 
if it is like TP in 29 and the additional shadow dmg is calculated into the SS dmg -> rogues by far.

this is true, however shadowfang deals almost as much damage as a 2h. so for most situations the warrior would use the shadowfang



i guess the priority list would go:

1) rogue MH

2) warrior

3) paladin

4) rogue OH

5) mage

6) hunter
 
If you give it to a none warrior or rogue then you are making a HUGE mistake. Does not matter how active the paladin or what other class you might be thinking of giving it to.



Also giving it to a rogue for their OH is also a bad idea.
 
I remember all vengeance paladins running around with 2 or 3 sf's each...



nowadays that never happens. IMO just sell it for 8k, then make 6 more twinks
 
i am highly biased but i would have to say the order of "need" is



1rogue mh

2 warrior

3 rogue oh

4 paladin

anything else is a 100% waste

this decision has nothing to with "i think". if the shadow dmg is in the SS calculations the SF provides the highest possible dph in this bracket. as there is no instant attack for warry/pally that is based on weapon dmg, the rogue wins this race easy!



if not, the warry got a chance to be in first position.
