I'm not sure if you device can not view images, but I provided a SS (Screenshot) of a new player who recently joined the bracket talking about it. As far as I am aware, patch 5.3 was not last month.

To be fair, I really do not fully understand how a DDOS attack works, my point being it is a shame we are having to deal with this bullshit because of players in the bracket.

And once again you are avoiding the second part of my statement. I will make myself crystal clear this time.

No where in your screenshot does it specifically say they anything about "DDOS". Your screenshot is extremely vague, especially coming from an account that only has 30 posts and recently made, it is hard to give you any benefit of the doubt. And if we are going just off of credibility (as your screenshot basically says absolutely nothing), let me give my input.

Last summer in 5.3 we had the same issue with people being unable to play due to DDOS in quite a few premades. I mentioned in my original post that "everyone who has played 19s through 5.3 that is involved in the community should be aware of who it is by now". I believe i am a fair and kind person, but in this case i will call the player out by name in hopes to solve this before the tournament. Barborous/Sqooshi/Purloinersgf whatever you may know him by at this point... To be honest, I am in full belief that Cptdikpunch is either Sqooshi/Uraflamer who i believe are banned from TI? Correct me if im wrong mods.

So once again, since your screenshot shows absolutely shit all about DDOSing anyone, i find it very ironic that the culprits of last summer's ddosing events would accuse ANYONE else of DDOSing. And as i said, if we are just going off credibility in the community, my voice travels much farther than yours. So let me bring out my closing statement...

Last night in our preparation games for the tournament we played "This Sunday Night", the guild that you are accusing with no evidence, just going straight off credibility (which you have very very little). Not only have I played these guys, but i have talked to 3-4 members of their guild, they are very respectable players/people. Unfortunately in our second game of the night against them, close to 15 minutes in for anyone who was watching, our paladin was D/Ced from the game. Now how ironic is it that immediately after the game, Koncentrate's connection was 100% fine and who other than sqooshi confronts our paladin saying how unfortunate that he rage quit the game, and asked him to play paladin for their premade team....

As i said, since we are just going off of credibility, my voice travels much farther than yours. If it were me handling the DDOSing situation to answer your question, i would not allow those players to participate in the tournament.
It is really a fucking shame that every time something great arises in this community, the same culprits arrive to tear it down again and again

I played my first 19 games in over a year last night and was promptly kicked from the game by Barb, so glad to see 19's are still classy.

Anyways, good luck to all of those involved and I trust you guys will come to a sensible agreement should DDoSing or other events occur.
 
This is sad this is becoming a problem, The problem with DDOS is it can rarely be proven and lead to the actual culprit. Want a way to not worry about DDOS? dont use skype, its why I love Raidcall, it is as though skype and vent had a very sexy baby.

Now that does not protect those brave souls who stream. Anywho, I suggest people get Raidcall and be worry free. If for any reason DDOS happens Im sure myrm will look into it and if he is able to prove anything he will disqualify the team that is in the wrong.

I was told kevi rage quit over skype can even hear the discussion in my vod if you want to stop assuming. Kevi rage quits alot so I didn't second guess what i was told.

I never ddosd anyone during premades/wargames last summer so stop please. I already talked to myrm because people were saying I wasn't or shouldn't be aloud to play in this tourney and also brought up how after doing those wargames on alliance earlier in the month/last month my proxy kept getting hit and how some level 1 was asking people for my skype.

and Cptdickpunch is that huntard from tich horde - I haven't had a TI account in ages yet alone made a new one to banevade on its literally not worth my time anymore but somehow i keep getting drawn back to explain myself to retards every now and then like how you guys view me matters or something.

Edit: If it will make you guys feel any better I can give lessons on how to proxy/hide your IP to avoid any future DDoS's
kidding you guys are so lost and probably blamed DCs cause shit net on me for the past 2years+

When did i kick you? Only game i got horde side with you was when i joined an inprogress game and literally seconds after it said you afked. I don't group que nor bother to organize vote kicks - I get a priest to que on alliance and mindcontrol you so i can kill you myself; Ask around :D
 
Also don't get why you're asking for proof HB - TSN's warlock was spamming in /S asking for our teams skypes and bragging on stream how he has like a 3000second booter now you're acting like they're saints and they've never mentioned yet alone been around that kind of stuff.

(When we did a pickup of 10 alliance to do some wargames vs them)

If you really wanted to call me out on something could have done so anywhere else instead of trying to publicly shame me for shit i haven't done.

Anyways turning off shit and closing this - If you want to talk about anything i said or argue with me about how many people i ddosd and how they didnt simply DC etc just hmu on skype or ingame idrc.

If that is the case and that is your word i believe you, and apologize. It is just extremely frustrating as a team leader having those series of events occur to my team and community that i love. I really want this tournament to be the end all be all for how much work has been put into it, would like to see it through for everyone who is participating.
 
it all really depends, if its just some little idiot whose getting one of ur ip's and doing it himself from his computer, you can get him fucked easily.

if he knows how to do it, uses bot nets and spoofs his ip, ur not gunna be able to figure it out... ur networks basically being flooded by atleast a few thousand computers.

And if the person is actually even slightly smart, he would be doing it to people outside his country, because someone from say Kentucky is going to have a hard time contacting the ISP of someone from Berlin or someshit, and these people know that.

so theres probably a chance its someone from EU, or somewhere. Doing it to someone in the US. or vice versa.

Just to add on to this beautiful wall of text... We also sat our paladin when your paladin DC'd last night. Why would we do that if we're the people DDOSing?
 
ok first of all why the fuck would i hit someone when were playing a wargame that doesnt mean anything, 2nd of all it was a joke. we came to this bracket to win and have fun why would we ddos.

and when your paladin went offline we had our paladin sit offline as well if you didn't see.

and even when it was 9v9 or 10v10 we had over 80 kills both games and you guys had like 30..

I understand that the screenshot may seem vague when it is looked at alone, but when you see the whole picture it seems very obvious to anyone not missing a chromosome.

I hope you realize that if they already have your IP address using Raidcall won't fix a thing.
 
Not complaining giving my view on the topic and trying to get confirmation, as to whether they are allowed or can even que up for wargames like someone has said.

Problem is certain players of the guild in question are known DDOSers at end-game. They have DDOSing down to a science.

Yeah, you say it is all "g" because it will be Myrm getting DDOSed in the tournament, not your paladin. Forgot to mention that Myrm was also in a skype call as a fill in for some of their wargames a few weeks ago. It's a 4 piece puzzle and you aren't able to put it together.
