Other than skirmishes, it's people like him that are going to get you off scheduled games. Direct him to TI and be nice.
 
Although it doesn’t always work out the way I intend, I often tell under geared players I find in bg’s about the brackets competitive gearing standards and about ti.

Every once in a while I will get one of those under geared (usually outdated gear) players to thank me and come back to me in the future with their updated gear/enchants.

Some people just need a friendly push to visit ti, I know I once did.
 
It looks to me like you were the one that initiated the whisper. You could have just went about your business. And not said a word to them. Or better yet directed them to this terrific site.
 
I politely asked him if he could gear before bging again. I didn't scold him or insult him, until he completely shut me down with disrespect. Also if I had directed him to this site, he would probably get scared off because of this Herald guy cussing out rogues. I've offered several under geared 19s help on getting the pieces etc, but sometimes it just doesn't help. I'll just keep trying my best to direct them here and be nicer.
 
meh make a macro with some smiley faces to direct them to twinkinfo.com and then don't even talk to them the rest of the game

I always direct them to TwinkInfo and try to be friendly. Some of the people who que with little to no gear might be trolling though.

After all, some twinks just want to watch the world burn.

Well, since you asked. Just take a breath and relax..

In your screenshot, you came off as blunt and frustrated. He responded defensively. Not that I think anything you said was unwarranted lol. I would have tried to AFK him.

If you see noobs that make your eyes bleed, direct them to TI and encourage them to get BIS. Yes, they are a huge disadvantage to the team. However, try to refrain from pointing out how utterly useless they are. As soon as you make any sort of personal attack people will go on the defensive. They will no longer listen to a word you say

If you include them in the community and foster the 'baby' tinks, they may one day be on your best of list.

Give them positive reinforcement. Don't make any negative comments they may interpret as a personal attack. Try to be helpful. For example"I haven't seen you before, are you new here? :)" and "I see that you're working to becoming best in slot. If you want the armory for some BIS players I can give it to you, or you can look at templates on twinkinfo.com".. If you are friendly, generally you will find them more receptive to what you have to say.

Recruiting people to the bracket is what we need right now. Try to foster a sense of community and inclusion. As a result, you will promote a healthier and stronger bracket.

i see players like this often where they are in leveling BGs owning due to BOAs or class spec advantage. they then decide to turn off xp, not knowing they are no longer facing levelers. occurs in other brackets. sometimes you catch them in trade chat asking if BGs are down, etc. when i shift click the player i see they are at weird levels for brackets that games don't pop.

obviously the way this 19 hunter claimed a healer was hacking, was used to being in leveling BGs blowing up newer account players.

when i see people like this i ask if they think they are still facing levelers? usually the answer is yes. i inform them that while they have have out geared levelers, they are facing full blown twinks with full gear and enchants. i also refer them to here, just in case they may want to twink.. usually a player like the hunter SS'd usually don't make it thru a whole BG due to dying alot and leave.
