On my BM I went double colossus, I also had two other weapons both with elemental force, and I found that it paired nicely with my dps set.

I think that you'll be better off with Colossus x2. That's what I have on my brewmaster, Ninjapreeze. Each proc creates a bubble that absorbs about 281 damage, and as soon as I get into combat, they seem to both always proc. I have got him just about BiS. He also has an agi/dps set with Dancing Steel x2.

Are you doing PVE or what ? because after battle fatigue the colossus proc is more about -55 % so i would say something like 150 absorb for each proc.
