im curious to know why people use bloodey dancing steel/dancing steel > berserking... at level 72 you get 94 agility from dancing/bloodey dancing steel...gear. but beserking amd landslide gives 400 ap at 72... wich is over 200 more ap...anything to add?

some ppl use bloody dancing steel to show how awesome and sick they are reaching 2,2k rbg rating (lol rbg) on their main.

so they use it for their epeen ecen though other enchants are way better

I personally like dancing steel for the Strength pure stat, instead of just AP from berserking / landslide. Strength gives addition parry for Paladins, which is rather nice if you go Prot ( Grand Crusader doesn't proc off offensives anymore. )

What happened to your army training?

dancing steel procs more than mongoose (which imo got stealth nerfed), beserker, and landslide. the up time for DS and near guaranteed proc on a opener makes up for the loss of stats/power from those others.

i don't want to spend the gold for DS on my 70, since the bracket is fading, but i'm seriously dropping mongoose and gonna roll EF. tired of going thru a fight and then seeing it proc near the end whether it was a win or lose fight. or when farming going thru 3-4 mobs before seeing a proc at times

here is a comment someone made on wowhead i saw the other day, and was insteresting and updated Enchant Weapon - Dancing Steel - Item - World of Warcraft

The devs told us exactly how MoP weapon enchants work at the link below.

http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/6397900436?page=8#154

I'm pasting it here in case they retire the beta forums after release.
  • River's Song: 4 RPPM on melee attacks that land, or are dodged, or parried.
  • Dancing Steel: 2.3 RPPM on melee attacks that land.
  • Colossus: 6 RPPM on melee attacks that land, or are dodged, or parried, with a 3-second cooldown.
  • Elemental Force: 10 RPPM on damage or spell damage/healing
  • Jade Spirit: 2 RPPM on spell damage or healing, 50-second cooldown.
  • Windsong: 2 RPPM on damage, or spell damage/healing.

Edit: As of 10/15/12, Windsong and Elemental Force now proc on all damage and healing, including melee, ranged, direct and DoT.

They now trigger on the new "Real Procs Per Minute" (RPPM) system, which is weapon speed and instant attack independent and fully detailed in this blue post.

Edit 2: As of patch 5.1 Dancing Steel, Jade Spirit, River's Song, and Colossus are on the RPPM system also.

Edit 3: As of patch 5.2, Dancing Steel now has a 15% greater chance to activate.

i was testing jade spirit at DMF today on my 70 druid. it would proc most of the time on the first or second attack for 12 sec, and within a few sec proc again, but then no procs for along time which must have been the 50sec icd

i have not tried power torrent, i see it has a 45 sec icd, but i don't not know if it gets double "back to back "procs like i have seen from jade spirit. you might try asking in the 20-24 bracket where many twinks use it.

at the start of MOP power torrent was cheap and easy to get alternative to jade spirit, but now i see jade spirit selling 1100+g on avg and power torrent 2000+++
